Question about Sharp Aquos LC-37GD6U 37 in. LCD HDTV
I have a Sharp Aquos LC-42D43U LCD TV...we LOVED it...had a party, and someone threw keys and hit the screen...ruined the TV...the screen was all lines after that...they bought us a new TV of course, and have a newer Sharp Aquos TV, and again, we LOVE it...
Anyway, is there somewhere that we can sell this ruined TV to?...it's sitting in a box in our spare bedroom...all the circuitry/boards inside are still good I'm sure...can't see throwing it in the trash, and then it will sit in a dump for the next 100 years?..
Any suggestions/ideas?...websites, electronics/repair firms where you can advertise/sell to?..besides Ebay which I hate...
Well, the good thing you got a new TV out of it.
The best and easiest thing to do is sell it on your local Craigslist.
The parts inside the TV can be used to repair other TVs that have no damage to the screens. I would say $100 for the whole thing would be fair price for all the parts inside.
If nobody wants to buy it on Craigslist, go to Shopjimmy.com and contact them if they want to buy the TV from you. They're all about recycling parts.
