Question about Sony XM-2002GTW Car Amp
Hey i kept having the same problem with mine
it does it cause it is hot so its a built in safty feature
make sure yr amp is not covered in any way or against the seat or something like that.
if you want also you can put some spacers between it and where you have it mounted with some longer screws obviously, and pices of ply wood or some htink of that nature for better air flow all around it. if you really want it to look good make the "feet" as i call them out of 2 3 pieces of 1" ply wood. say 2"x2"
stack and glue each layer together and then wrap them in some carpet to match yr sub box.
if then it still does it as said b 4 turn down yr knobs a bit i have mine at 3/4 of turn and bridged it sounds great and never shuts off any more

Make sure gain and freq knobs are not cranked, make sure you have a good solid ground, rust free
