Re: mic

I have a problem with the VX6000 webcam. When i speak to anyone or do a voice test there is a bad echo and distortion. I have tried doing different volumes, moving webcam away from speakers. Please help!! I am running windows XP.

Re: mic

Hello, Well this could be many things but all of them are related to bandwidth. The "mount full of marbles" effect comes from the fact that you packets are being delayed and messed up by your upstream connection. I would be interested in knowing what is you upstream speed on your internet connection.

Won't produce sound batts charged says it is paired says it is connected

It will produce sound when you click open the Volume icon in the system tray in the right bottom corner of the screen. Here you will find that the MIC has been muted (Old habit of Windows). Remove the tick from the box of mic and save. Now you and others will hear you talk. And remember to unmute it whenever you want to talk to anyone.

Poor sound detection

Try going to my web cam, then when you see yourself go to File and then preferences then go to calling and devices and make sure that your mic shows as your mic, if that does not work then try your actual computer sound settings. I had some similar problems as well

We cant record a video clip with sound - only picture

You need to go into the recorder options ant tell it the sound source to us is the USB Mic. on the webcam, or what ever the source of the Mic. is. There are several sources in Skype that allow changes to be made. Use the drop down menu for the selection and select the one you are using for the mic. Good Luck, RAC

have you checked to make sure your mic isn't muted ? ... click on the speaker icon in the bottom right of you screen... if microphone is on that list make sure it's not muted... if it's not on the list you can add the control for it... i believe it will say device at the top of that window. add it and make sure it's not muted

Pc Mic and web cam help

No, you don't need to do anything more. That should do it. Logitech also has a webcam with a built in mic that would work for you as well.
