SOURCE: Our GE Profile Deluxe washer is not draining

Your post says "drain hose is kinked". I assume you meant NOT kinked. You didn't leave a model # so it's difficult to advise. If it's a top loader set it to spin and listen for the drain pump sound. If you hear just a dull hum it's probably stuck with something in it.
Use a shop vac to get the water out. Pull the front off and remove the hoses from the pump. Look into the inlet and you'll see the object.

You either have a bound up (frozen) drain pump, or knowing GE's reputation with washers, the transmission (gearcase) just dug it's own grave. How old is it? Depending on the age, it might have a frozen pulley.

SOURCE: my ge washer wssh300g1ww does not spin out clothes

Hello, I too bought one of these washers(WSSH300G1WW). After about one year of operation i noticed that the low spin cycle was making noise so look at it and it was just making noise and not spinning. canceled the cycle restarted the machine but this time set the spin speed to high instead of low, it works on high. im guessing its the clutch in the machine that is faulty and really cant affoard to fix at this time. The thing is i liked to use low spin cause the thing would shake violently on high even with a small load. So now when it spins or i start the machine i make sure theres nothing close that its shaking will cause to fall and break. I also bought the matching dryer (dsxh47eg1ww) it too has problems, the bearings that hold the front of the drum up are going out, thing is i dont over load it and it seems that they went out or started to go out very early as my clothes were getting caught inbetween the drum and the dryer 2 months after i bought it. Im 42 years old so i remember when we had REAL washer and dryers. When quality was revered by companies and consumers. Those old machines ran for years (maybe even decades) without problems, replace a belt from time to time. Now days your lucky to get five years out of an appliance. I know these ones arent going to see 5 years. their about 2 years old and im ready to go find some 1970 model year washer and dryer, rebuild, give a custom paint job to call them retro.

My GE washer will not fill up with will go through the cycle as if water is in it and start agitating .Please help --Mark

I had the same problem, with a different model. This is what fixed mine, Model WSSH300G1WW, and may work for you.
First check the screens at the water inlets. Take the hoses off and make sure the screens are clear and not clogged. If they are clear, continue. If not, clean them and retest.
Unplug the power cord, remove the top cover. Mine had two screws on the back. I took these out and then slid the cover back and lifted it off.
Facing the washer, on the right side, near the top, is a sensor? with two wires and a hose. Make sure both of the wires are plugged in all the way. One of my wires was unplugged and plugging it back in fixed the problem.

My GE Profile top load washer won't hold water

Your drain line is too low or has a blocked air gap. Take the drain line out of the drain. Hold it up high and turn the washer on to fill. If it fills and begins agitation, repair the drain line problem.
