I hit my friend'ball on the green while I was chipping from outside of green. His ball was moved to close to the hole. what is the ruling?

This is covered in Rule 18-5, Ball at Rest Moved by Another Ball. There is no penalty to either player as long as this procedure is followed: The person whose shot struck the ball at rest plays his ball as it lies; the person whose ball was moved returns the ball to its original position.

Building your own ladder golf set

Building your own set for ladder golf is relatively easy and shouldn't take you too long. So you can be up and running in just a few hours.

You are going to need is 1" PVC pipe cut into 6 12-inch pieces and 9 24-inch pieces. You are also going to need 6 elbow fitting, 6 t-fittings. For the balls you are going to need 24 solid golf balls (2 sets of 12 in 2 different colors) and about 28 feet of nylon rope.

To building the ladder to form the base take 4 of the elbow fittings and two t-fitting and the 6 24-inch pipes. Connect the pipes to the elbows and the T's so that they flat side of the T is facing down. There should be an empty socket facing up. When you are finished you should have a rectangle that is 4ft by 2ft with 2 upward facing sockets to hold the ladder.

Next you want to build the ladder. Start by taking one of the remaining 24-inch pipes and attaching an elbow fitting to each end. Then attach a 12-inch pipe to the other side of the elbow. At the other end of the 12 inch pipe you are going to attach a t-fitting, continuing along the plane of the 12-inch pipes attach 2 more 12-inch pipes and in the cross plane attach a 24-inch pipe. Repeat this for the bottom step of the ladder. After you have attached the last pipe fit the open ends into the base and there you have your three step ladder for playing.

To make the balls you are going to need a drill to drill a hole through the center of the 24 balls. After you have drilled the holes in the balls take your nylon rope and measure and cut it into 12 20-inch pieces. It is suggested that you burn the ends of the rope so that they don't fray. Stick the rope through the holes and tie a knot on either side of the ball so they don't move. Put one ball on each end of the rope. You are going to need 6 ropes with 2 balls on each.

Once you have finished making the balls you are ready to play! Some play with each player on their own ladder, if you want to play that way you can follow these instructions again to build a second ladder or you can just use one.

Flipping pinball flippers like a pro

Growing up my dad was a pinball machine collector, so we always had machines in the house and at a young age playing pinball was one of my favorite pass times. After spending many long hours playing and flipping those little flippers like a manic I realized that there was an art to using the flippers.

When it seems that the ball was going to go straight down the center of the playfield I would use both flippers to try and stop the ball from draining, but it was an action that never worked. I discovered that using only one flipper helped me to catch the ball more often. And this also helped me to discover that you don't need to flip the flippers as often as you might think.

The game of pinball is all about timing and aim, there was one time that I discovered that if I raised the flipper at just the right moment I could bring the ball to a dead stop. This gives you the ability to better control the ball or even take a short break so long as you don't take your finger off that button. You will learn after the first few times playing pinball that it is not a game of random chance that the ball hits places on the playfield and win points but that there is an element of aim involved. With practice you learn the playfield well and the power that you need to hit the ball with to hit the targets. You will find that using a certain part of the flipper will cause the ball to go exactly where you need it to.

Pinball is a very fast paced game, in some instances the ball can be moving at speeds of 20mph! With this in mind when you successfully hit the ball you should immediately let the flipper fall. Holding the flippers up when you don't need them leaves a gaping hole in the center of the playfield and makes it harder to hit the ball if it comes down fast.

With time and practice you too can master the art of being a pinball wiz and amaze your friends with your unbelievable high scores.

Ball on the green hit by another, knocking it into the hole: a hole in one to the ball owner.

In short - no.

This is governed by Rules 18 and 19.

Rule 18-5
"If a ball in play and at rest is moved by another ball in motion after a stroke, the moved ball must be replaced."

The idea is that each player's score shall reflect the strokes they made themselves.

In match play, when the other ball is not an Outside Agency, there is no penalty to the player of the other moving ball. In stroke play, there is a 2 shot penalty to the player of the other moving ball if the stroke was made on the putting green (careless putting). Otherwise no penalty (unforeseeable event).

How should I clean the babble ball?

You should use a clean damp cloth with and gently wash the dirt and saliva off the ball's surface. Don't submerse the ball as it will damage the electronic components of the ball.

Mercruisere stuck in nutural lock

No Brother, all I'm saying is to disconnect the shift cable so' you can try to shift by hand at the lower. If lever won't move, then it's inside.Could only be the poppet ball stuck into the groove in the shifter shaft.Try to move the lever but don't be too rough with it.Maybe even try som "Croil" on the shaft,it's called the oil that creeps and it will get into places that WD-40 never will.It may free up the poppet ball and spring that keeps it in the gear.I'd try the "Croil"before I'd pull that lower apart.Quick fix.Rigger

FRONT END SHAKES WHILE DRIVING OVER BUMPS

It could be several things. First check your shocks by pushing down on the bumper with your knee 3 quick times to make it bounce. It should come up and down once, stopping in the middle of the second up. If it moves any more than that the shocks or struts need replacing.

Then check your tie rod ends and ball joints. There are 4 tie rod ends on your vehicle. They are attached to the front wheel and the steering box. There is an outer one on the wheel and an inner one at the steering rack. Try to move them side to side or up and down. Any movement means they need to be replaced.

To check the ball joints, you will have to jack the wheel up so it is clear of the ground. Grab the tire at 12 and 6 o'clock and try to move it in and out. If it moves, then have someone watch as you move it and see if the movement is at the bottom ball joint or the top one, if your car has an upper ball joint. Front wheel drive cars with spring/strut suspension don't have upper ball joints.

I would be inclined to suspect the tie rod ends as being your problem, but it could easily be multiple things so check them all. Hope this helps.

You need to do a reset on the modem and router by pressing the reset button with a ball point pen and if you don't see a reset button unplug both for 20seconds. Don't hold the reset button in for longer than 5seconds or you will have to reconfigure your modem and router VIA your PC.

Where are the grease zerks located on a 1996 Old Ciera S.L.?

they are located on the bottom center of the ball joints and the bottom center of the outer tie rod ends below the joint.at the rear of the suspension in the same location on the ball joints if this set up has rear ball joints.if you don`t see them it may have joints that are what they call permanetly sealed joints and don`t need grease.they should be checked for being worn out.

My mouse pad will not move my cursor on my computer

If your mouse is the older ball type hold the mouse level about 12 inches off the pad and move the ball on the underside of the mouse with your finger. If the cursor moves you may need to simply clean any dust from inside the device and clean the ball. Open the open to release the ball. Theres a round plate on the underside around the ball. Turn it to the open position a remove the ball. Clean any dust from inside with canned air or a soft brush. Clean the ball with a small amount of alcohol and let dry completely. Replace ball and plate and you should be ready to go.
If you have an infrared mouse, your mousepad may be too glossy. Dry a pad with a dull finish.
