Question about Singer 14SH654
I have a Singer sewing machine (507), and the timing seems to have gone wrong.
I was recently sewing and there was a loud clunk noise, and then it didn't work anymore. Upon looking underneath, one of the cogs had broken in half. I have now replaced it, but the bobbin thread is no longer picked up when sewing.
I have managed to get it so that I can initially get the thread picked up (once the needle has been threaded, just as at the start of a sewing session), but when sewing the thread is not coming through the material.
Can anyone help please?
Singer sewing machine needle does not go directly down into opening of foot, it hits the back plate of foot. how can i align it.
