First of all, check to make sure the drain hose is inserted properly in the drain pipe in your wall. Second, if that's not the problem, check to make sure the drain hoses inside the machine are tightly connected and not cracked. Tighten or replace as necessary.

I have a 4 yr old Samsung washing machine VRT, model # WA400PJHDWR. Water started leaking onto floor during a wash cycle. When washer was put on the spin cycle, water drained and clothes spun dry.

Could be a number of things. Maybe drain pump, or a leaky hose , or tub seal. You’ll have to physically observe to see where it’s leaking.

Washer leaks

There is also a discharge lint filter on the front lower left that has to seal properly. If the water appears only when washing, you can probably eliminate leaking from the water supply side up to the solenoids controlling the water. The most likely source is a leak in the rubber section between the tub and the front door, a leak in the seal between the door and the washer, a leak or overflow in the soap dispenser, or a leak in the discharge side components. You could probably figure out the source if you could view these areas during a cycle, but that would require some disassembly of the cabinet so that you would need to know what you were doing.

Supra washer/dryer combo leaking significantly

In all occasions it is important that your observation is most important and so is vital to the identification /rectification and solution. If you have noticed that water has leaked then as the drain hose pump/valve and fittings are located on the underside of the machine it is important that you look for possible leaks here. In some cases the drain hose would be clogged at the drain end to outlet of the house and so there will be back flushing resulting in overflow to the outside. Also the drain pump/valve can be clogged or the drain hose clamps can be loose on the grip which can all cause the leak to occur. Removing and cleaning the drain pump/valve, tightening of the hose is also very important. Also water can leak if there are gaps on the front door gaskets and must be checked but this will happen only during the cycle and not on the drain cycle end.

I have a miele w526 wash machine .water leaked out under neath machine and 2 lights on side came on .check inlet and check drain .i turned it off removed clothes and tilted it forward and more water was...

In the bottom of your machine the is a tray in the tray the is a float, if the machine leaks the float lifts and hits a switch activating the two light on the facia. The is a leak either in the machine (sump hose) or around the machine drain etc. By tipping the machine you are emptying the tray thus allow it to work. You will need to find the cause of the leak. My best guess is the sump hose has been damaged by hair clip or pin. You may need to remove front panel to check hose etc.

Leaking washing machine

The leak is probally coming from the drain pump itself or the discharge hose onnected to the pump. This is easy to check and replace. This video should help

It's an Elite not sure the model number but I have a leak from underneath after the clothes are washed and when the water is discharged before the spin cycle.

this could be a broken hose or a leak from the water pump , if you have an access panel in the back u can check this , or access from underneath

My washing machine is leaking water everywhere when rinsing

you are over filling it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! when you use the rinse cycle it just fills the washer up to get all the soap out of the clothes. try just rinsing less clothes then usual. if that is not the problem then on the bottom of your washer is either rusted out or there is a rubber seal that could be over used!

let me know if that helped at all
