Unfortunately whoever first started telling people that their files are bad and they need to delete it from the iPod is just wrong. Here's how you REALLY fix it: Restore your ipod, making sure to place it in disk mode. Wait for the ipod to sync, and when it starts freezing on a song, rapidly tap or hold play/pause until it starts syncing again. Your iPod isn't timed correctly with the computer and that's that's the reason for the error. pressing play will kick the iPod in the *** and make it line up with the process on your PC. You're all welcome in advance.

There are some mp3 songs that you can add to the iTunes Library but not to the iPod
This is a format issue i believe
if this its your case you should try to get again the mp3 or burn it from th CD again an then try to upload to the iPod

How to put limewire songs and videos on iPod iPhone

Here comes the Christmas, you may get an iPod or an iPhone. And you want to know where to download free songs and videos for your iPod or iPhone. Limewire is the most popular place to get what you need. And this step by step guide will teach you how to download and put Limewire free songs and videos on iPod iPhone.
Part1. How to put Limewire songs on iPod

Step1. You need to download and install Limewire at first. ( Here is the limewire download link ). We take the Basic version as example in this guide. Then run the Limewire. Type in a keyword (such as Michael Jackson) in the search bar, and then wait a few seconds, Limewire will return a lot of michael jackson related download link results.

Step2. Click the download link, then Limewire will start the downloading process. (Tips: higher number will lead faster download speed). Once the download process is finished, Limewire will automatically add the downloaded songs into your iTunes library (if you have installed iTunes), then you can plug in your iPod or iPhone to computer and sync it with iTunes, done.

If the Limewire song doesn?t load into your iTunes automatically, you can click Tools -> Options to open the panel, click "Configure" and set it as follow:

Part2. How to put Limewire videos on iPod and iPhone

Step1. Download video is the same as audio. Type in the keyword (such as twilight), Go to ?video? categories, find the file you want, click the link to start to download it.

Step2. After the download process was finished, located the limewire video file on your computer, limewire default save folder is "C:Documents and SettingsAdministratorMy DocumentsLimeWireSaved".
iPod and iPhone both support only MP4 video, if your download file is already mp4 video, you can drag it into iTunes library and sync it to your iPod or iPhone directly.
But most Limewire video files are MPEG or AVI. You can use this Limewire Video Converter to convert them to iPod compatible MP4 video. I tried many video converters, and this one works best with Limewire video. It?s compatible with Windows 7 and 64 bits system. You can learn more information about it by referring to this review . Drag the video into the limewire video converter, set the profile to "iPod Video MPEG-4(*.mp4)", click start to begin the conversion.

It will take a few minutes to finish the conversion. Then drags the converted MP4 video into your iTunes library and sync the Limewire video to your iPod or iPhone, this video converter build-in an iPod transfer. You can use it to upload Limewire songs or videos to iPod if you don?t want to use iTunes. That?s all.?Enjoy my guide on putting Limewire songs and videos on iPod, Merry Christmas.

I have a nano ipod I was at one time to fit over 700 songs on it now I can only have 300 songs can you please help me out thanks

If you have added any videos or photos to the ipod that you do not need, remove them. These will take up space that is used by music to get you a higher song count.
If you haven't put any new photos or videos check to make sure your songs seem to be normal length and quality. You may have had 700 songs that were 3 minutes long in the past, but if you have 80 songs that are 30 minutes long those would be the same as having 240 songs.

You just need to drag your song into iTunes library, then make a playlist with the songs, plug in your iPod to computer, iTunes will detect the iPod automatically, then click iTunes menu "File -> Sync iPod", the songs will be transferred from iTunes to iPod.

Memory loss on ipod

The ipod nanos the smallest product in the Apple iPod line. The fourth generation Nano comes in two different capacities, each capable of holding thousands of songs.
    Capacities
  1. The fourth generation iPod Nano comes in 8 GB and 16 GB models. The 8 GB version can hold 2,000 songs, and the 16 GB version can hold 4,000 songs.
  2. Tips
  3. Song capacity estimates are based on music encoded in Apple's proprietary format at a standard, average bitrate. The higher the bitrate, the better the quality. Songs deviating from Apple's standard (for example, CD-quality music or high bitrate MP3s) will use more disk space.
  4. History
  5. Nano's predecessor, the iPod Mini, was released on January 6, 2004, and was available with a 4 GB hard drive. The Nano was first released on September 7, 2005, and was the first iPod to use flash memory. It was first available in 2 GB and 4 GB versions. The fourth generation Nano was released on September 9, 2008.
  6. Size
  7. The fourth generation iPod Nano is 3.6" tall and 1.5" wide.
  8. Video
  9. The third generation Nano, released on September 5, 2007, was the first Nano to feature video playback. Storing videos on Nano can dramatically reduce the amount of songs it can hold.

The music I put in my psp doesnt work

Make sure you have it in the "MUSIC"(all in caps) folder within the PSP folder of your Memory Stick.

Inside the Memory Stick's PSP's MUSIC folder, you should either have the song file itself(mp3 or wma) or no more than one folder.

I.E:
Memory Stick>PSP>MUSIC>Gwen Stefani>Don't Speak.mp3
or simply
Memory Stick>PSP>MUSIC>Don't Speak.mp3
