My mad catz dual force ps2 controller wont work

you will need a dual shock 2 ps2 controller. The mad catz controller is probably a dual shock 1 controller. Some games require the dual shock 2. It should say on the back of the game if the dual shock 2 is required. If it says something along the lines of "pressure sensitivity" or "pressure sensitive" on the back of the game case (where it says "1 player" or "2 player") ... then you will need a dual shock 2 controller. If this is not the case and it only says "analog controller" and "vibration" then you won't need the dual shock 2 controller. If the controller doesn't work for any games or even on the console main screen, then it must be the controller that is broken. Try turning the system on without a game in it and see if the controller works. Hope this helped :-)

Hi,

Your laptop has a feature/utility that turns off the hard drive when bumped to something or move. This feature is to protect the hard drive from data corruption and hard drive failure. It is like a shock sensor. Check for the software of that feature and see if you can decrease the sensitivity.

Hope this helps.

Alarm goes off when loud car is near

The shock sensor is to sensitive, you need to adjust it from MAX to MIN move one point and try it knocking the car body if is still to sensitive move one more point until you desire is good, just don’t leave it to the MIN because if some one attempt your car braking the window the shock sensor is not going to act, but if you like to leave it to the MIN you’ll need to install a glass sensor for a better car anti theft protection.

TRYING TOO BY PASS ANTI-THIEF DEVICE ON 2000 CHEVY VENTURE,NEED ANSWER ASAP

If you're talking about the alarm, it's in the programming. There are 4 modes, depending on your model.
Mode 2 has delayed illumination, auto door lock, last door close/lockout detterent
Mode 3 has all those plus remote driver's door unock
Mode 4 adds the remote lock/unlock confirmation, content theft, content theft arming/disarming

Enter progam mode by
1. remove the BCM PRGRM fuse from the instrument panel fuse block.
2. Close the driver's door.
3. Turn the ignition key towards you, to ACC
4. Count the number of chimes you hear. You will hear two to four chimes depending on the features your vehicle is equipped with.

You are now in program mode...
With the content theft-deterrent system, if anyone damages or enters your vehicle whie the system is armed, the horn will shound and your parking lamps will flash for two minutes. The content theft shock sensor detects if anyone damages your vehicle. The shock sensors sensitivity can be adjusted by your dealer if more or less sensitivity is desired.

Mode 1: damage detection w/ reduced sensitivity
Mode 2: damage detection off (alarm only sounds when door is opened)
mode 3: feature off
mode 4: damage detection with Normal sensitivity

To change modes, enter the program mode, turn the parking lamps on and off, count the number of chimes you hear, that is which mode your vehicle is in. you can change the mode by turning the parking lamps on and then off again. Repeart turning lamps on/off untill you hear the numer of chimes you want.

The mode is now set, you can either exit, or program another feature.

To exit, turn thekey from acc to off and put the BCM PRGRM fuse back.

Anti theft system beeps constantly on a 03 z4

Sounds like you have an after market alarm system. Normally a factory alarm will not have a shock sensor. Its probably the shock sensor causing the constant beeping. If you think this is the case you can normally find the shock sensor under the drivers side dash secured to the steering column. It will probably have a light inside that comes on when it detects vibration. There will be an adjustment to make it more or less sensitive. Hope this helps.

My bulldog Model 2010 Alarm is too sensitive and

I got this from their website.

Adjusting the Shock Sensor Sensitivity
To adjust the shock sensor, disarm the system, press and hold Button #3 (Finder) until the alarm chirps four times
(approximately five seconds), immediately release the button. Tap your vehicle’s hood above the alarm at the sensitivity
level you wish. The harder you hit the car the less sensitivity the alarm will be. The alarm will then chirp three
times. The shock sensor is now set at this sensitivity. Any shock that is equal to, or greater than this sensitivity,
will sound the alarm. Set the sensitivity as often as you wish; however, the sensitivity level will remain set until
the battery is disconnected or you reset it. If you do not tap the car it will automatically go to maximum sensitivity.
This setting is only acceptable if the car is parked inside a garage. NOTE: The factory setting on the shock sensor
should be acceptable for most vehicles.

Prestige alarm sounds off all hours of the night why please help!

The problem could possibly be that the shock sensor is too sensitive. It may need to be adjusted. You will need to find the alarm module and see if it has a built in shock sensor or if it separate. Either way adjusting the sensor will help.

Make car alarm more sensitive

Locate the shock sensor. Using a small screwdriver you can adjust the sensitivity of the sensor. Move srew in only 1/4 turns as this will make big adjustments. Adjustments may make alarm too sensitive so try it out and see what works for you.

Sony CDP-490 unusually sensitive to any shock or vibration

I found a service manual for it, and discovered that pot RV101 (under the laser) will increase the laser's gain, and it reduced how sensitive the CD player was to vibration and shock. It's not perfect, but it is still better than it was before.
