It might be that your throttle cable has stretched a bit and your really in choke position when its lined up for "run" on panel marking

make shure none of your hydrolic cylenders are extended and fill it up till you can stick you finger in there and it barley touches if you do this when cylenders are extended you will over fill it.

Purple wire goes to the solenoid on starter.If you installed starter with single wire post all you have to do is mount a solenoid to the frame just in front of starter,existing batt/starter cable goes to one solenoid post,purchase a short red cable and install on other solenoid post and run it to the starter,plug purple wire into new solenoid and the way you go.

there are three wires at the regulator two from the alternator and one that goes to the battery see if there is voltage at the two from the alternator if so the regulator is bad
