I have a microwave in which i have option only for timer no option for setting temperature how to use it

Unlike a conventional oven, your microwave does not have a provision for setting a specific temperature. There may be only settings for different levels of heating such as high and medium and a special setting for thawing frozen food. The manual for your microwave could be a useful source of information regarding operation.

Ikea Lagan microwave not heating. Lights and fans work but food doesn't heat up. Was working okay a couple of days ago but now not heating.

Microwave Electronics or magnetron failed, you will need to have it looked at professionally. Sorry. There may be a fuse inside but it will be a thermal fuse which requires professional replacement.

I have a whirlpool fridge freezer (model 20rud4). It was working fine until about 3 weeks ago and tthen suddenly the fridg is not staying cold eneough. It was originally set to 5 degrees centigrade . i...

it is possible that your fridge has developed a snag in its cooling system. what could be done from your end will be to first of all switch off the fridge for at least 8 hours. allow it to totally defrost. then switch on to see if the cooling returns. if so reduce the thermostat to 7 degrees and check. if the cooling returns then you will need to check for frosting inside due to failure of the thermostat or the auto defroster. if there is still no cooling then your gas has leaked, failureof the compressor, failue of the valves in the compressor could be suspected. Probe with these inputs. Good day

Inside the freezer, at the back is another fan that circulates cold air from the freeze through out the fridge. Make sure it's running. Sometimes the blade will slip on the shaft and get jammed, or the motor could be defective.

HOW DO I ROAST A CHICKEN IN A AC925CHS

Search the internet for “roast chicken recipe for microwave”
Here is one just in case you don’t find one:
Microwave Roast Chicken
3 lbs. chicken
1 tsp. salt
4 tbsp. butter or margarine
1 tsp. paprika

Instructions
Melt butter in a custard cup in microwave. Mix paprika into melted butter. Wash chicken (reserve giblets, these are best cooked conventionally). Sprinkle inside of chicken with salt. Cover ends of legs, tail, and wings with small pieces of saran wrap or wax paper. Place trivet on inverted saucer or small casserole lid in 12 x 7 inch baking dish. Place chicken breast side down on saucers. Brush with butter. Cover with waxed paper. Cook 12 minutes. Remove wax paper or saran warp from legs, tail, and wings. Turn chicken breast side up and brush with butter. Cover with wax paper and cook 12 minutes more or until meat thermometer registers 180 degrees (temperature will increase to 195 degrees during standing).

DO NOT USE MEAT THERMOMETER IN OVEN WHEN COOKING!! Remove chicken from oven; cover with aluminum foil and let stand 15 to 20 minutes before carving. Note: For other weights of chicken, allow 8 minutes cooking time per pound.

Exploding microwave sounds - No Lights, No Fan, but Heats Okay

We see this a lot. The problem is on the control panel, which we regularly repair nationwide for $39.95 postpaid.

This light failure often occurs when a bulb goes out and the filament shorts, or when the bulbs are removed or installed without first unplugging the oven from the power line. Either can cause such a failure on the controller.

This can often also affect the exhaust fan operation, too. The lights and fan can be inoperable or stuck on too.

Details of our service and critical safety information and disassembly information is at our site, and our link is at our listing here on FixYa: http://tinyurl.com/yzjozk

Took 12 minutes to heat up a roast beef sandwich (not frozen).

Hi there!
My guess would be that the magnetron is faulty. If you have a testmeter, unplug the terminals on the magnetron and measure between the body of the magnetron and either one of the terminals. There should be no reading. If you have a reading it is faulty. Then also check the High Voltage Cap. Cylindrical shaped metal item with two terminals. I would replace the Cap anyway. It's 9 Years old. Conclusion: Magnetron is faulty, runs Hot and then switches off the machine on the Thermal switch(located on top of the Magnetron). No problem with the food. Be sure to unplug the Mains before you check it out. The Cap may also still be charged so do take precaution. Good Luck,JUS004
