I have a 2001 Hyundai Tiburon (DOHC 4Cylinder engine) and im working on the car alot and when i have to leave the door open so that i can hear the radio the dinger keeps going off... im wondering if there is a way to disconnest the sensor perferrably without cutting wires so that everytime the door is open the dash light dosent come on and the bell dosent ring. anything helps.. thanks

ECU/ECM,, BINGO?

HVAC BRAIN BOX
AND MORE, (SEE SERVICE MANUAL FOR ALL THAT)

Does it get to operating temperature? look at replacing the coolant thermostat and the engine coolant sensor. Clean the throttle body also. Inside.

On first blush, sounds like you may have a bad CV joint or wheel bearing.

There is no such thing as a 'driver side door sensor' on a 2001 Hyundai Tiburon.

2001 Hyundai Tiburon 2.0L MFI DOHC 4cyl
The Fuel Filter is located Under hood, passenger side, front side of strut tower, mounted on fenderwell.

which door are you using when you try this. It could be the door switch for that door. If the bulb is still good try another door and see if it comes on

tiburon uses hydrolic lash adjusters there are no valve lash adjusting If you hearing a pecking sound on the top of the mtr try some oil additive or replace the hydrolic lash adjusters

It is not possible to use Nologi non resistor silver spark plugs together with Nologi Hot wires on my Tiburon 2003. I guess it goes for all Tiburon from 2002 to 2006 with the 1,6 liter DOHC Alpha Engine. But I am still working on it and if I get anything to solve this problem I will be back to tell.
