SOURCE: Upgrade Problem

Hello

I would suggest you try to reset the software to fatory detaults and then try again.

Do the contents change on their own? this would indicate there is a possible fault in the device if settings change on their own.

Calibrate your screen on windows 7

The colors you see on your screen may vary depending on your monitor, graphics card settings, lighting and much more, but most people use the same standard Windows color profile. And that means a digital photo that you think sounds good can be very bad for everyone. Fortunately, Windows 7 is now a color screen Calibration Wizard, which allows you to properly configure your brightness, contrast and color settings, and ClearType tuner to ensure the text is clear and unambiguous. Click Start, type DCCW and press Enter to give him a chance.
I have windows 7 and do not care for the way it looks. \r\nMy old xp would let me change all the white to a custom color. W7 will not let everything change. I am visually in paired and see things brighter...

Ok - this can be done - step by step...
1. Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Personalization\Window Color and Appearance
2. At bottom of that screen: Advanced Appearance Settings.
3. Top selection drop down - find Application Background.
4. Change that to a more agreeable color.
5. Save changes.
6. Enjoy a PC that you can look out without being blinded by the bright whites.
Cheers.
PS - Tested on my Windows 7 Home Premium.

CLARIS DRAW 1.0 print problem with Windows XP

Sounds like old software (1995) with a much newer operating system. I would upgrade to whatever is compatible with XP or take your OS back to what works with the software. I'd go with Corel Draw with XP. Vintage software has to be run with the same vintage OS to work properly. Hope this helps!
