Question about Measuring Tools & Sensors
I looked all over for it, and nobody seems to have it. I did have some
1/4" aluminum plate, and made one in about an hour. To drill the ~5/8
hole with a ~9/16 dia step I used a step drill - worked perfectly
(enough). Drill until the 3/4 step JUST starts to cut - this leaves a
small rim, just like the plastic piece- actually the saw seems to run
smoother now too! I used my vice to press the bearings in.
It's sad that Delta doesn't support their tools better, it affects my future tool buying decisions...
