Ezpro 585 connect to laptop - CTX EzPro 585 Multimedia Projector

You mention CTX & Optoma. The link above is an Optoma lamp for the EZPro 610....also note there is a 610H

did you figure this prob out? I have virtually the same prob, except mine says "invalid source"

check if your projector is capable of the same screen resolution as the laptop.

Hi,
Usually the key combination is 'Fn' (function Key) + F4 (or which ever F key that displays the symbol of monitor on it). This key combination is used to toggle the display between monitors.

not all laptops are fn f8 find pic of monitor and fn key, if this doesnt work adjust display resulution same as desktop

well mostly these lights come with a ballast and the right connector to go from the Ballast to the bulb, if you dont have these then it might just be cheaper to get another set-up. these bulbs run at the high end of the spectrum , in the infa red end of it actually , but really are an ineficient bulb like the mercury-vapour that preceded them compared with the later models , lets say from the 'sonti-agros' till now ( a much more usable spectrum of light and more efficient ) there are a huge range to choose from, as far as the scematics of it well they differ from light to light and brand to brand, hope this has been of some help. geoff

on the projector, restart your laptop/computer, this will detect automatically. if not then try display settings to 800x600.

You probably need to have a special cable made up.

unfortunately, you may need one. if you cannot even access the menu, you have a main board issue.
