Pressure gauge needle stays in max position running or not. otherwise pressure washer operates normally.

Pressure gauge is probably "sprung". Unless it bothers you, ignore it. Even expensive industrial pressure gauges fail regularly - I have seen a truck load worth of them (all brands and types) that read pressure even after being disconnected from pipe or tank, and the gauge on a pressure washer is anything but an expensive one.

I have a problem with my karcher 2500 pressure washer with honda engine it will not start or stay running. I have used starting fluid to start it it starts but won't stay running.

Carb is mostly likely gummed up and should be cleaned. Best option is to dismantle the carb and soak in solvent or equivelant for a couple hours and replace it. Our use Gum Out. Do make sure you have a good spark plug and a strong spark. If you have a fuel filter, then replace it. Check intake filter as well

Pressure Washer Engine will not stay running

My Kracher 2500 pressure washer has no pressure unless I remove the nozzle. If, I remove the nozzle and pump the trigger several times and quickly replace the nozzle it works fine until I release the trigger. Karcher (online) suggested I remove and clean the unloader which I did. It still doesn't work correctly. What another solution?

It won't stay running

You need to either clean the carb really good (take it apart) or rebuild it or both. Sounds like your needle is gummed up and not letting fuel through.

Remove and clean the carburator. Sound line a stuck needle on the float.

Won't run with air filter on

I have a fairly new pressure washer with the same problem and discovered that because it was temporarily stored on its back (rather than upright), oil seeped into the air filter housing. If you look at the air filter it may not look like it has oil on it - especially if the oil is new. Mine runs fine without the air filter, but as soon as I put it in, it does the same as yours. I came across this site since I am looking to order a new filter. Hope this helps.
