SOURCE: car starter not working
look under the dash for a small silver toggle switch....this is a disable switch for the remote start portion of the system..you may have kicked it / bumped it with your foot, causing the remote start portion to be deactivated. Just flip the switch the opposite way and try again..
Also, there may have been a pin style switch installed under the hood...Check to see if it is bent or broken, if it is, simply disconnect it and insulate the wire that was going to it.
This wire is used as a safety to keep the vehicle from remote starting while the hood is up..to keep people from being injured if the remote start is activated while the engine is being worked on.
Have whatever shop installed the system replace your pinswitch if that is the problem.

This can be very simple look for alarm brain and unplug the brain, this vehicle should start. if it doesn't the look for valet switch it usually mounted under dash or on kick panel next to hood lever or close to where clutch pedal will be, Turn Ignition ON and in ON position flip switch the led light should stay on steady then the vehicle will start. If None of this works then you will have to take panel under steering column down and disconnect complete alarm system. Disconnect wires one ar a time and re-join them with the correct ones. It's NOT hard to do, there will be spliced into ignition wires. To do this you should disconnect positive lead on battery pole to stop the annoying noise until you are done. Good luck and contact if you need more help. Thanks for using FIX YA

it sounds like a starter kill relay was installed on your nissan, if there is a relay in line with the black/yellow or black/blue starter wire under your dash you may need to bypass it, or you might need to reprogram your remote to close the relay when you unlock your doors

It sounds as if your vehicle's factory alarm is not disarming before the remote start sequence. You will have to disarm the factory alarm before start. On most vehicles there is a disarm wire, usually in the door that operates with the key cylinder. To test, probe the wire at the key cylinder while unlocking the door with the key. Some vehicles have the disarm wire in the driver's kick panel, but they operate the same way (with the key cylinder). Other vehicles can be disarmed with pulsing the key sense wire. Some vehicles do not have a factory alarm disarm wire,i.e. some Subaru and GM cars and trucks. They can only be disarmed through data modules. More information on the year/make/model of your vehicle will be needed to accurately solve your problem.
