I have to turn a knob to get a clock display. When I turn the knob every light on panel comes on then the clock displays but although the knob is on the range does not get hot.

First of all check your breakers. Some ovens display all characters if you aren't getting a full 240v. When you check it may look like it's not tripped but turn them off and on anyhow (there will be a double breaker). If you don't have a full 240v the burners or oven won't heat up. The other problem is they may have dropped the oven and cracked or joggled a plug to your control panel. Moving companies are insured for this so you need to contact the company and let them know what happened. Usually they will either have it fixed for you or get you a new oven. Good Luck.

Probe light on convection oven stays on. Clock won't display. Oven still works though.

Sounds like the control board is not communicating correctly with the rest of the unit, consult a professional.

Oven does not work! temperature display goes very fast and won't stop to higest temp

You have a bad control board and oven temperature sensor. I highly recommend disconnecting the power source until the repair is made.

Oven won't come on?

Check that the timer is set correctly as often owners don't set them right; I'm guessing you changed the element without turning off the breaker. If this is an oven with a digital display, turn the breaker off and back on, this might reset the board.

Hope this helps; also keep in mind that your feedback is important and I`ll appreciate your time and consideration if you leave some testimonial comment about this answer.

Thank you for using FixYa, have a nice day.

The oven won't turn on. We are unable to set the clock either. The display flickers but doesn't display.

There are lots of different timers on fisher and paykal The last one I reset was a few weeks ago it involves pressing 2 buttons at the same time I think it was the oven on and oven off buttons but I am not sure You will know when you have pressed the right 2 buttons the display will stop flickering set the clock time using the up down arrow buttons The auto light should not be on if it is press the manual button Regards Geoff Stove Recyclers

The display reads OFF on both ovens, I have never seen this before and the ovens won' work

This means you have turned the oven OFF The solution is to hold down both of the Cancel buttons for about 10 seconds and the oven should turn back ON.

Plate won/t rotate no reheating

PLease open the housing of turn table motor at bottom of the oven and check for the AC input voltages on motor terminals as specified on sticker on motor. for no heating please check fuse between high voltage transformer and high voltage capacitor. Also check high voltage Diode and Magnetron. Please please don't try to measure voltage on terminals of magnetron.
