I need to identify the part no. for a lasco tub model 254360 stopped

Sounds like a push type release. The shaft will unscrew from the center of the drain. Your local plumbing supply company or big box hardware store should have the replacement parts.

Can't unclog stubborn bathtub drain

find a local hardware store or depot with a plumbing department and get a drain auger, it is a long wire with a spring around it that ends in a few hooks you can use to manually remove the clog if chemical clog removers do not work.

How do I get the drain plug out of a bathtub? It is one of the kind that you turn and it drops into place to stop water flow. The bathtub is not draining.

Likely the drain is clogged with hair. Most of these type of plugs will have a screw in the middle underneath the top plate that you will have to undo. Let me know if you need anything else.

My bathtub drain leaks. Is there a product to

No, not without sealing, I mean clogging, the drain. Do you know exactly where the leak is coming from? I would suspect that the water is getting around the drain, instead of down the drain. The visible part of the drain should unscrew from the part that is underneath. That bottom part is likely permanently sealed to your drain plumbing.
You may be able to easily fix your leak by:
#1 Unscrewing the visible drain top.
#2 Replacing the washer under that top. This will seal your tub to your drain. All water will then be forced to flow down the drain properly.
#3 Screw the top of your drain back into place WITHOUT folding or wrinkling the new washer.
Good luck

Kohler bathtub drain seems to be disconnected from control lever. This is the type with the "in bathtub stopper" that raises up and down to let water flow out. The stopper does not move up and down as it...

Okay, remove 2 phillips head screws at lever handle/overflow.

Pull firmly with much effort and bowing the connecting rod a bit.

Up will come a heavy duty spring on the end of the rod.(prolly a big slimly hair ball too!)

Hope you get the spring, cause that's what works the drain stop.

If spring doesn't come out you'll have to "fish" it out.

Clean everything up real good and flush drain good also now.

The "Secret" now is to put the Lever, rod and spring assembly back in and replace screws and get the lever flipped to the left BEFORE you put the Drain Stop in.

My Water Keeps Draing

The seal for the drain is leaking. It is either the drain itself or the seal beneath the drain. If it is the seal beneath the drain then you will have water going underneath the whirlpool and causing damage; if it is the drain itself simply replace the drain as it's seal is either broken or worn.
