Might be a weak or flat battery. Machine is trying to initialize to wipe all programming. Firstly, try to jump it out of there to keep your data:
Turn key to PROGRAM mode.
Turn power off at wall.
Hold RECEIPT FEED down - keep your finger on it.
Turn power on at wall.
Wait 5 seconds, then let go of RECEIPT FEED.
You should see "FFFFFFFFFF" on display.
Press SUBTOTAL.

Now turn key back to REG mode and try it. You might have to log in if you get error 8. If it works, great. If your programming has gone, you'll need to re-program it. Ok, currently u must have used the default 25 buttons as department keys for your items on the TE2200 right?
If u said, the CUSTOMER receipt prints out Department info, what kind of info are they? Can u type out a sample?
Usually, if ur biz sells fewer than 30 items, then the 25 department can be used as PLUs coz Department buttons can have a descriptor & price if u programmed it properly.

Yes, u need to do it in PGM3 to change price for scanning PLU. The PGM1 is for Normal PLU price change.

Of course , u can use Casio CV-10 software to do the price change too.

Make sure you are using the text layout in the manual if the text is not inputting correctly. Also, don't forget to use the double zero button when changing between text input and placement to the keyboard.

Casio TE2200 stuck in INIT mode and wont let any cashier log on. I have just done a factory reset and set time, date, dept names, and cashier names. Now no-one can log on or off and it seems the till...


It sounds like you might have used the wrong clerk system in your MAC code. If you use a single clerk button on keyboard, you need clerk code set in the MAC code. If you use the clerk buttons at the top of the keyboard, you need to set clerk key in the MAC code. If you tell me the MAC code you used during the reset, I can see which system you are using.

Casio TE 2200 0 instead of 0.00 I just bought the new te 2200 but i can not programing. is that the problem with mac code ?


Yes. This machine has not had a RAM clear and system settings performed. My casio TE2000 elec cash register, after I turned my key to PRG ( program ) and pressed 'total' key, it said V.4137 INIT....1 , does that meant it no longer usable this register?


Seems like u need to re-program ur Cash Register...
before that, Please try...
1. Key turn to OFF
2. Keep pressing [Receipt Feed] button
3. Key turn to PGM
4. Release [Receipt Feed] button
5. Press [Subtotal]
6. Key turn back to REG & try to use
