Question about Bosch Dryers
This ccan be the result of the skid pads being worn that the drum goes around on. If you can take the front panel off the dryer, the drum will be sitting on plastic skids mounted on the frame. The other thing to look for would be to see if you have any rubbing marks on the inside of the front panel to indicate it needs a little adjusting.

If youve made sure that its not a roller thats dry or a belt idler pulley that dry, than yes its the motor, and oiling that will only make it worse.

A squeak can also be a slipping belt or something caught between the drum bearings usually the front but could be the back one.
