Pride jazzy elite he power chair. I can't figure out how to put it in drive. It'll go in neutral. But when I switch the levers to r the lights just run a sequence on joystick then cuts off.

make sure the charger is disconnected from the chair. turn the power on, then push the horn button twice in row, within ten seconds of starting the Joystick. This will reset the lockout. Push on the chair to see if both motors are in the parked position, if one side moves then that side is not locked. both sides need to be locked in order for the chair to run. Strege Mobility

My Jazzy Select 6 indicator lights flash 3 times then off and chair won't move. Both switches are in correct place and battery is charged.

Your left motor connection is shorting out to a battery connection. there maybe a bad wire on the left side motor. Strege Mobility

Right wheel turns slower than left one causing chair to turn right only?

hi Robert, normally this is because of the motor on the left hand side either needs new brushes or the brake is not freeing 100% , at worse it is a joystick fault ... check the joystick connections.. and the connections to the left hand side motor

What is making creaking squeeking noises in power chair?

hi, that noise can be caused by the seat mount moving slightly within the seat holder, because it 's a tight fitting when it does move slightly , you get the noise...only needs mm amounts of movement, Careful spraying WD40 in the gaps will solve this but take CARE making no electronics or electrics are near...disconnecting one battery will be ideal..

a visual inspection of all of the bolts and nuts should prove peace of mind...

WARNING: You need to tip over the power-chair to carry out the instructions set out below so extreme care is required.

This noise can also be caused by the motor gearbox ,, carefully place your hand on the gearbox as someone powers the chair , can you feel a grinding sensation ? , bear in mind you will get some feeling there of a dragging.

Yes, it is possible. If you take the chair to dealer who sells Pride, they should have a programmer available to change the settings on the joystick controller.

Jazzy select is swaying side to side when going forward like it has too much play in the joystick

Check your tire inflation and treads to make sure they can grip the floor/ground without slipping. Make sure that any keystock/keylock needed is installed on the axle, sometimes they slip out. Are your batteries fully charged and in good condition? Are you over the weight limit for the power chair?
Is there any noise or vibration coming from the power chair as you operate it? A grinding sound may indicate bad bearings in the caster wheels and cause problems in steering. A chirping sound may indicate a bad motor, they may be losing power and are not able to move the power chair evenly.
If your insurance purchased the power chair for you, they may also cover the repairs; contact them for information.
Good luck!
