Question about Asrock Computers & Internet
I have 2 sticks of 1gb pc3200 ddr 400 memory and a Asrock Motherboards fsb1066 fsb800 i unplug the 2 sticks of 512meg and tryed one stick of the 1gb one and pc did not want to know about starting up what an i doing something wrong can you help PLEASE ?????????
With many mobos (motherboards) you must place a single stick in a certain slot in order for the mobo to post. In my Asrock it is the #2 slot for a single stick. If I put it in the other slot the computer will not post. Try moving your stick to the other slot and reboot.

A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

the memory you're about to purchase will not work. the maximum gig that the computer can handle per stick is only 1 gig. this system is not designed for 4 gig barrier.
hope this helps.
