I have a admiral washing machine aav7000aww clothes deep coming out wet and had to be spun again. How making noise could this problem be caused by a bad bearing on the pump? The machine seems to be froze...

Yes, the pump should turn pretty easily. Mechanical pumps are generally pretty tuff though. Does it feel ballsy at all when you turn it? It should feel smooth, but it shouldn't spin fast like a top either. Of coarse, if it's quiet in your hand it should be quiet on the machine.

Make sure you check the hoses that you removed from the pump. There could be a sock or bra underwire stuck in the one coming from the tub. You might even try shining a flashlight up the hose and see if you can see it from the inside of the inner basket. A sock can be between the inner and outer tub but covering the drain hole. They make a racket and cause other chaos. With the pump off it's the perfect time to get it out before it moves to an unreachable spot, that requires dismantling. Check the basket closely with a nice bright light, if it's really jambed in there you may see it poking thru the basket holes. Let me know what you find.

There seems to be something retarding the spinning of the tub and it sounds like there are rocks being washed. It doesn't spin enough of the water out of the clothes so that they have to be wrung out...

sounds like the main bearings have gone or the motor bearings not sure how you describe noise. is the drum nice and smooth while you turn it by hand if it feels rough it will probly be bearings this will be slowing machine i think you will have to look a bit further inside good luck

We heard a large BANG and now it is so noisy

The rear bearing in most front loaders lasts an average of 5 years under normal usage. Spin the drum manually with your hand and seee if it is nice and smooth and quiet. If the bearing is ok it is probable that 1 of the shocks is broken on the bottom.

I replaced the brake, brake stator, and snubber ring on a Maytag MAV7650AWW top load washer. Now, when it is running it makes a loud grinding or humming noise. Nothing appears to be leaking. I ran it with...

most likely a bad water pump/remove belt and turn pump by hand , you'll be able to tell if its the pump by the way it turns, should turn smoothly in both directions

I have a maytag top loading washer. I have a F51 message. I have no clue what that means, can anyone please help?

F51 means you have a rotery positioning sensor error or (RPS sensor) This is clipped onto the top of the stater motor and means you will have to replace the RPS sensor if the tub is spinning smoothly by hand.

Let me know, if needed further assistance.
Hope i helped you.
Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!

Washer has started making a heck of racket during the drain/spin cycle. It's not consistant. Two loads may go thru ok no noise. A third load and it will make a very loud grinding chain like noise.

Grinding noises are most often the result of a failing water pump. The noise can increase during the spin\drain cycle due to the added load on the pump. Although less likely it could also be the drive belt rubbing on something or a pulley bearing failing. If you are able to locate and remove the drive belt, you should be able to turn the water pump pulley by hand. If the pump does not turn smoothly it is bad.

Loud niose from centre of manafold motor run nice & smooth ?

on the 302 you can not see the cam and lifters unless you remove the manifold. did you try removing the distributer and turning the oil pump shaft until the light in the dash goes out? that will drive oil to the upper cylinder assemblies, other than that you may be looking at replaceing some damaged bearings and or camshaft.
