I dont kno the default 4ne code for my voda4ne 125 handset

hi
Carefully reading user manuals help in most of cases :)

Just use Read flash option. After reading complete, SagemEG will show you phone code. If not success, there is another option to get code - sent flash.bin to Support@SagDD.com.
Here is log of reset to default , read eeprom n read flash

It depends on what bios the machine has, there are recovery procedures, atleast on laptop bioses. That when a set of keys is pressed it reads the bios image from a floppy or from a usb stick / cd and flashes the bios automatically.

Look online for Bios recovery (find out what bios you have, ami, phoenix, etc and then look for _____ bios recovery)

The BIOS bin file is a BIOS upgrade file. It is used to flash the BIOS to upgrade the BIOS version.
This file is has to be downloaded from the motherboard manufacturer's WEB site.

Gigabyte Motherboard wont flash bios

your bios has been corrupted.

The AWARD BIOS has a similar procedure to AMI. To recover an AWARD BIOS you will need to create a bootable floppy diskette and add the desired BIOS file (we recommend using the most recent). Award BIOS's generally are in .BIN format, where as AMI was .ROM format. You will also add an AWARD flash utility (usually awdflash.exe) and an AUTOEXEC.BAT file.

The AWARD BIOS does not automatically restore the BIOS information to the 'system block' like the AMI BIOS does. You will need to add the commands necessary to flash the BIOS in the AUTOEXEC.BAT file. The system will run the AUTOEXEC.BAT file, which contains the flash instructions.

Note: 12345678.BIN represents the name of your BIOS.

Step by Step:
1. Create a bootable floppy diskette or bootable dos cd /usb drive
2. Copy the BIOS file and flash utility to the disk
3. Create an text file with any standard text editor and add the following lines

@ECHO OFF
awdflash 12345678.BIN /py/sn/f/cc/r

Exchange the awdflash with the name of whatever flash utility you are using, and replace the 12345678.BIN with the name of the BIOS file you are using. The parameters are explained here:

py = program yes
sn = save no
f = flash
cc = clear cmos
r = reboot

Remove disk and restart computer

SAHARA KN1 LAPTOP BIOS FLASH

flashing the bios is a tricky thing to do. basically you will find the file ( i do believe it is a .bin file) , u save on a CD along with an executable file, once you rebooted the computer, it will update it automaticall. some you might have to run the program, pointe it to the bin file, and tada, flashed. try this utility (SIW)
it will tell you what is the BIOS version, among of tons the other info. the utility is free.
there are other methods of flashing, but be careful, you try the wrong thing, and you motherboard is bye bye.

Trying to download a file

Hi and welcome to FixYa,

To my knowledge most (but not all) *.bin files are meant not to be directly opened by a user but be used by another program to update the firmware of a device. An example, the file 121208.bin is the BIOS version/file and a flashing software like AwardFlash.exe will use to update a motherboard.

In your particular case, I am venturing that the original file would be something like ...XYZ_V123_api_femu.zip which when you unzipped turned out to be ...XYZ_V123_api_femu.bin. This file would then have to be loaded to a device such as a satellite receiver or a cable decoder box. There is nothing a user can do to a *.bin file, rather, the user must point the flashing/updating program to where the *.bin file is stored. This can be accomplished by copying said file to a USB flash/thumbdrive that would be plugged into the USB port of the device (if it exists) or a known location/folder/directory into the computers HD.

Good luck and Thank you for using FixYa. Happy Holidays.
