Samsung Cell Phone Blue Screen

My mother's Samsung Cell phone would start typing in numbers while she is using it, and it would get so bad to where it would lose the connection and hang up. Then it wouldn't let me go into the menu, it'd dial 639# and some other wierd numbers. Then it turned to a blue screen that said Emergency Download Mode, then while we were looking for a solution, it turned off.

-   I dropped the cell phone in the toilet and thought it was gone, but randomly it turned on and seemed to be functioning. However, it would perform random functions mainly using the right side of the key pad and would type 369# and mess with the volume control. I took out the battery and then put it back in and now it says "Emergency Download Mode" in blue type-   slil

We had the same problem and found that if you press the 8 or 9 button while inserting the battery and then press the same key while turn the phone on and finally taking the battery out one more time. You should be able to turn the phone back on w/o any problems. Hope that made sense
