If you make an incorrect entry relating to a department, PLU/subdepartment, percentage (%through •),
deduction (-through ≠) or refund, you can void this entry by pressing the void key (looks like infinity sign)immediately after the
incorrect entry.

I have a Casio SE-S700 Cash Register. I am trying to "void" a transaction (after it has been totaled.)but the manual does not start how to do it. Can you help?

Refund the product by pressing RF before entering the product as you did when you sold it. Finish by paying in the same way as the original sale and the product will be returned to stock in the register

How to REFUND, VOID, ERROR CORRECT on a cash register

Most cash registers are similar in operation when it comes to removing items from a sale (or after one).

ERROR CORRECT, or ERR CORR, or EC will remove the last product you entered during a sale. You simply press it straight after the item button to reverse that item back into stock.

VOID (infinity symbol on Sharp), or VD is used to remove any item from a sale e.g if you have entered four items in a sale, you can remove the first item by pressing VOID, then the item button.

REFUND, or RF, or RFND is your friend. It can be used to reverse any item at any time during, or after a sale. Just press REFUND then the item to reverse it back into stock. Then finish with a payment type e.g CASH if you are refunding cash back to the customer.

How do i void the gross sales on 500dx?

Clear out everything with the C key.
When 0.00 displays press the Void key.
Type in the amount (10.00 = $10)
Press the correct department key that you want to void the value from.
Now there will be a -10.00 displaying on the screen (negative number)
Press Tender/Enter

This will void any amount plus the tax that was associated with the department.

Sharp era420 not printing on left side

If its feeding paper but not printing, make sure that you are using the correct thermal paper and that there is no extra bits of paper stuck under the printing head. Otherwise it might need a replacement printing head. If its not feeding the paper at all, then make sure that the receipt is turned on.

How do we void a void?

If you void a void, that is the same as re-entry. Just sell the product again and you have reversed the void

How to void a sale on casio pcr-t275-l cash regester

This is a very simple model, so there are only two ways to remove items in a sale. If you enter an incorrect item, press ERR CORR to remove the last item. If you want to remove a previous item, or return an item after a sale, turn the key to RF (refund) mode and key in the item the same as you did in REG mode. This will return it so that it does not affect the daily total. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Sharp XE-A102 Till. Am trying to set department 8 as a refund department for my small business but am having no luck as I don't understand what keys I'm supposed to be pressing for the ABCDEFGH entry -...

Hi. No need to with the 102. Sharp created a void mode for removing sales. Just turn the key to void mode (the infinity symbol. I think it is fully counter clockwise). Then ring up the item that you want to refund just like you did in REG mode. then finsh with CASh if you are refunding in cash. This will create a negative sale which refunds that item back into stock. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hi.
Turn the key to RF (refund) mode.
Do the sale again, using the same department as you did during the sale, and CASH to finish.
