They don't have fuses. Look Here: I will help you. First, I assume you have a working outlet and your circuit breakers do not reset or go off. Next are you hooked up to an ac outlet that has a circuit breaker in It (at the outlet) if those are OK, then I have to ask...Are you dumb enough to put your machine on an Extension Cord. If NO...Thenk God you not that Stupid! If everything else checks out to here try this. Make sure you have Cold water and it is ON! Run the machine with COLD WATER Only! If this still causes the problem and you have checked ALL Your WATER In lines are Clear and Free of Rust, kinked hose, and good water flow then we come to the End of the Road Almost! If the machine just Stops something is cuasing It to do this. Usually it is because the machine cannot get Water OUT of it to Drain!!! This is a COMMON problem and you need to order a New Drain Pump. YouTube has an extensive library of videos that show how to install them. If this is above your Knowledge Bank. Then you either Call For Repair Service Like Sears. Or if your machine is more than 7-10 yrs Old. Run the spin cycle very fast and throw a Concrete Block inside it! You need a New Machine cause your electrical panel is a goner. That is $400 Plus to repair!!! Hope this helps.
Whatever you do ...Do NOT cal LG! They are Idiots, They make TV's, Phones, Stereos! They are NOT Appliance Savvy With Washers or Dryers! That is why there are so many complaints. Hey don't Kick yourself to hard! I bought One too! Remember these two Words....Whirlpool and Maytag

How do I reset all codes?

I don't know what kind of washer you have but fault codes usually indicate that something is wrong. You don't just reset them.
You might find some help here but you will have to change the search terms.

I have checked the plug fuses but there is still no power to the machine

Check the power from your wall outlet. Less than 112VAC, it will not power on. If good, check continuity from individual plug terminals to their corresponding wires. (should be disconnected from appliance first to avoid false readings), if bad, replace cable. If good, check voltage at positive side of incoming terminals at back of connection point and then individual fuse positives, then negatives. (while current is applied) , if good, could indicate a short in the circuit board, or a board fuse, or heater fuse on the motor, or bad display panel. In which case it no longer becomes DIY.

Whirlpool washer blows fuse

the pump motor is starting to seize up. It is causing the motor to work harder which causes heating of electronics causing the fuse to blow

My washer seemed to have just died. I have unplugged and am still getting not response. I have a Duet Whirlpool model.

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,

Check that the washer supply is OK using another item - a kettle for instance. If it's not check your breakers/fuses. Reset/replace if necessary and if the same thing happens, or if there was nothing wrong with the breakers/fuses in the first place, sorry but with such a fault it is virtually impossible for anybody on this forum to remotely guess what could be wrong with your washer. It could be internal wiring/plugs sockets, control panel switches, control PCB.

I fear that your only real option is a service call as the engineer will have the right equipment to safely diagnose what is wrong ;-0(

If this has assisted you please consider a 4 thumbs up for the rating.
Thanks and good luck!

Hello. The mains fuse was blown.. replaced it now the washer won't fill with water

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,

Fuses blow to protect other parts in electrical items from being damaged ;-0)
So- something inside the washer caused the supply current to exceed that of the fuse. Sorry, with such a fault it is extremely difficult for anybody on this forum to remotely guess what is wrong with your washer. It could be internal wiring/plugs sockets, control panel switches, control PCB, water inlet control valves, door solenoid.

Open the back panel and look for the main fuse. Check the main fuse, if blown replace w/ the same value of amp.
The fuse just blown off, means there is something wrong w/ the electrical system, the capacitor might have been overheating. Call a technician so that he could pinpoint the main cause of a BLOWN FUSE!

It doesn't work at all If your washer doesn't seem to work at all, check these: No power Lid switch No power Check to see whether power is getting to the washing machine. Is it plugged in? Has a fuse blown or is a circuit breaker tripped? Lid switch If the lid switch is defective, your washer can't spin and may not function at all. The switch is inside the washing machine main housing near the door frame. Often you have to raise or open the top or front of the washer to get to the switch. If it's defective, you need to replace it. Some machines have a special lid-switch fuse near the lid switch, inside the control panel. If this fuse blows, the unit won't fill with water until you replace the fuse.

Check the thermal fuse. It is about one inch long and is located just inside the rear of the dryer and is usually attached to the exhaust duct. It can be tested for continuity using a multimeter. A lack of continuity indicates a blown fuse. Hope this helped and best wishes.
