VW Jetta MKIV - G68 sensor replacement - how to lower transmission?

Use a floor jack or trolley jack under the transmission. Also use a block of wood if you have the jack on the transmission's lower pan. You will see that the whole engine and transaxle assembly will tilt down somewhat with the transmission mount removed. If it is not enough to replace the sensors, raise the jack back up and take off that dogbone, then lower the whole thing again until you can get to the sensors. Be careful when getting the mounts back on, that the engine and transaxle settle down perfectly into the mounts, so you have no vibration issues.

Change spark plugs

There's a procedure called "rotating the engine" for GM cars. It pulls the top of engine forward towards the radiator just enough to get to the plugs on the back.
At top of engine, front of car, you see a "dogbone" brace. You probably have two. Running from a bracket on the engine to top of radiator support. remove the long bolt and nut (size 15 mm) from both dogbones. Now on underside of one of the dogbones is a hole, see it? You have to pry or pull engine forward (get help, you need it) enough that the long bolt you removed from end of dogbone goes through the new hole- engine has to roll over forward enough that the new hole now fits into hole on radiator bracket. Shove the long bolt through to hold engine in forward position. Now you can get to the rear plugs-gives you just a little more room.
If this is not clear, post back. Good luck.

I need Dogbone bearing dimentions

The outside edge of all bearings have a maker and bearing number i.e. "NGK2604". Get the number then go to an industrial bearings company. They can look up the bearing and see if it is in stock and if not, they can look up a matching bearing from a different manufacturer i.e. " SAS3107". The actual dimensions will likely be available at the same location. By the way, most people have no idea what you mean by "dogbone". Do you mean the crankshaft main bearings?
