Lc 32sa1ea my sharp LC 32SA1EA has started to need

Lc 32sa1ea my sharp LC 32SA1EA has started to need time to warm up - it used to come on fairly quickly i.e. a few seconds, but now it looks broken for about 5 minutes until it warms up, and then it suddenly comes on and is normal. What I mean when I say it looks broken for 5 minutes, is that there are coloured vertical lines on the screen or just a weird hazey screen which clears from the left until it is all black. I imagine there's something that used to help it warm up quickly that is dead now. Thanks Noel

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya Technician can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repair professionals here in the US.
click here to Talk to a Technician (only for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

Check for leaky capacitors in the vertical section of the TV or cold solder joints.
I would also check in the power supply.
Good Luck.

SOURCE: 56" DLP Turns on for just a few seconds, then off with the dreaded 3 lights

maybe, but I would replace the lamp first. the system looks at current draw from the lamp if it is too high it will shut down. these lamps are hard to detemine weakness by physical appearance. they are gas under presure. if after replacing the lamp the unit still has this problem then the balast. I have also seen the DMD board cause this problem. but the lamp is the most likley problem.

SOURCE: sharp lc26sh20u 26"flat panel has vertical lines on left side,What coulb be problem?

This line would either indicate a horizontal problem cropping up or a power supply problem

I would suggest getting a service tech to look at it to determine where your problem is coming from but most likely it will be the power supply /deflection board that is the problem but I can't know for sure, it will have to be checked.

A lot of sets have had damages after a long hot summer a/c flipping off and on and current demand being peeked from the utilities storms or quick power loss off and on can cause problems like this to occur

Please let me know if you have any other questions, thanks

LC-65D93U Sharp LCD not powering up just the blue light blinking

Our experience solving this was fairly long and I hope FixYa will excuse me for posting a link to it rather than copying all of it.

It's a free share of our experience and some hints on troubleshooting Sharp LC-65D93U with blinking power LED.

Of course your problem may be different, but the know-how we gained and share should still be of help in your quest:

Hope it helps!

I have a similar problem using an older 20" flat screen standard definition TV. (not High Def). I can see a little of the picture but more than 2/3 is covered by the black. My model is LC-20SH7U.
I used sharpusa.com "contact us" section.
Hopefully I get some kind of reply to report what they say.

LC-32D6U GETTING NO SOUND

9d12e73.jpg
Almost all intermittent audio or audio failure problems with Sharp Aquos LC**D4U, LC**D5U, LC**D6U, and LC**D7U televisions are the result of a relatively simple design flaw involving the heatsink pad compound used on the Tripath TA-2024 amplifier chip (IC2502) found on the A/V board. This compound has a fairly low melting point and, over time, tends to seep out from between both top and bottom heatsinks onto the legs of this chip as well as onto circuitry immediately surrounding it. Further, over time the seeping compound also becomes somewhat conductive creating bridges which short the audio amplifier circuit causing everything from intermittent audio to complete audio failure.

Fortunately, in almost every case audio can be completely restored by cleaning the old compound from both top/bottom heatsinks and from both sides of the PC board in the area immediately surrounding the chip (rubbing alcohol works quite well). Despite what the images say,
YOU MUST REMOVE ALL BLACK RESIDUE FROM BOARD. IT WILL NOT WORK IF ALL THE RESIDUE IS NOT REMOVED.
