Recording streaming audio

I use Adobe AUdition 1.5 and I am trying to record streaming audio. Is there a setting I have to change to do that?

I start Adobe Audition, hit record and get no level, although I can hear the audio fine in my speakers.

The mic records fine.

What am I missing?

You would have to set adobe up to record from the wave device. But I cannot recommend or tell you how to go about this due to the fact streaming audio is 99% of the time copywritten material.
