I bought my I phone 6plus at the apple store factory unlocked..now att has blocked my imei..but I owned the phone prior to going to att..im 60 on ssi cant even afford a cheap phone right now


AT&T will keep that phone blocked until you pay the bill. Call their customer service and ask to talk to a supervisor. Tell them your situation and ask them to reverify the bill. Unless you were on the phone 8 hours a day there shouldn't be any way it cost you 600 dollars a month. Ask them if you can get on a payment plan and some kind of a prepaid phone plan where the phone only works as long as you pay for the minutes. That way there are no surprises when the phone bill arrives.

could be wrong PIN or bill unpaid or you are over limit on card. So phone the card company to find out. Phone #s are on the back of card.

I have a Huawei straight talk phone and it's saying emergency calls only. Why would it say that? I have plenty of minutes just all of a sudden today it went to emergency calls.


Did you run out of service days? Because, if you don't pay your bill to your phone by the "Due Date", it will shut off your services, including messaging, phone calls, but not emergency calls. But, if you did pay your bill, then I don't know why it would be doing this, other than your in airplane mode.

I know it is quite confusing why your bill went up high. I will suggest you to contact there Support in order for them to explain why is that happening. I am thinking it has something to do with the discount already expired or changes was made on your account. Here is their support number 1-800-288-2020. Formerly ATT Tech Support here. Bro I'll let ya know the best thing to do. Go onto ebay and purchase a sim card reader/copier. Make a copy of her sim card. You can also make a copy of your sim card. The reader comes with a super sim card. You can store up to 5 different cell phone numbers on this super sim card. You will then know every call and text message that she gets without her knowing. You will get everything that comes and goes from her phone sent directly to your phone. Believe me I have one myself and it's wonderful. You don't have to set and wonder anymore. You don't have to be lied to either because you already know the truth 100%.

BT phone and broadband from sky...ok i cant make or receive phone calls.bt say that they checked the line and it shows no faults..ive tried different phones on line but no joy, interactive on sky box also...


Not a total solution, but a reason , perhaps.

I have both BroadBand and Telephone from BT.

In the past they always billed you with one bill. also if your phone was cut off due to lack off payment so the BB went off also.

they have now split their billing system - and services- into two separate identities, meaning that the phone could be cut off for calls yet your Broadband will still work and vice versa.

So, i would say the problem lies with BT , even though you have ordered your BB from Sky they still have to ask BT to setup your service at the exchange. It seems that they have not checked your service for both BB and phone.

I recently had my phone cut off (BT's 'direct debit 'accident'!) but my BB worked throughout the fortnight it took them to resolve where my paid bill money was!..

So. Call your main service provider (that would be Sky if you get no bills from BT) and tell them your phone service has most certainly NOT been activated.

I recently spent 17 hours over 3 days speaking to 23 customer assistants, before reaching a manager who resolved a similar issue for me at BT.

Under their new setup BB personel cannot see your phone account and phone personel cannot see your BB account - and we get charged over 1/3rd more for this mayhem . their reason explained to me as "having everything on one bill was confusing some customers so you now have two accounts and two bills for everything" !!

your socket is fine as you have enough connection for BB which takes more bandwidth than a voice line.

Basically you have some corporate customer service red tape to hack through.

MTP Device Searching Preconfigured Driver Folders


I was having this problem as well, but solved it.
I, like others decided to just buy a USB cable for my VX9900 and use Windows Media Player for sync'ing. (I also have the Verizon Essentials program that I downloaded, but I like WMP better. No particular reason).
I was getting the installation messages and as soon as the MTP message came up, I got the "problem" message and it didn't sync.
What I did when I got the cable was to run the CD drivers that came with my cable. That may have been my mistake. I was bothered that the date of my driver was in 2005 since the phone came out late in 2006. So I looked at the name of the driver and it was something like C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\LGUSBDriver.xxx whatever... I went to my device manager and uninstalled the driver. I went to the C:\Program Files\ and deleted the LG USBDrivers folder. I went to the Windows/system32/drivers folder and there were three LG*.* files I deleted them. The next time I plugged the phone in and set it to sync, it worked. It's late and night and I may not have typed this really clearly, so feel free to contact me at bill (at) halfamind.com (because a half a mind is still a terrible thing to waste).
