There should be a clip half way up the back and on the top. release those and the old tub should come out with out to much difficulty. the peice that attaches from the feeder arm to the lower spray arm turns clock wise and lifts out. the lower spray arm will unscrew if you use a pair of pliers.

Removing and installing the pedal in kenmore upright vacuum cleaner - part no. 8174906; model no. 116.31912100

I don't have specific information on the Kenmore upright vacuum cleaner model number 116.31912100 or the part number 8174906, but I can provide you with general guidance on how to remove and install pedals on some vacuum cleaner models. Keep in mind that procedures may vary between models, so use the following as a general guide:

Removing the Pedal:

  1. Unplug the Vacuum Cleaner: Ensure the vacuum cleaner is unplugged to prevent any electrical accidents.
  2. Turn the Vacuum Cleaner Over: Lay the vacuum cleaner on its back so that you have easy access to the underside.
  3. Locate the Pedal Assembly: Identify the pedal assembly on the underside of the vacuum cleaner. It is usually connected to the height adjustment or other features.
  4. Release Tabs or Screws: Look for tabs or screws securing the pedal assembly in place. Use a screwdriver or the appropriate tool to release these tabs or screws.
  5. Disconnect Linkages: Some pedal assemblies are connected to linkages that control various functions. Disconnect any linkages carefully.
  6. Remove the Pedal Assembly: Once the tabs, screws, and linkages are disconnected, carefully remove the pedal assembly from its housing.

Installing the Pedal:

  1. Position the New Pedal: If you are replacing the pedal, position the new pedal in place.
  2. Reconnect Linkages: If your vacuum cleaner has linkages, reconnect them to the appropriate points on the new pedal assembly.
  3. Secure the Pedal: Use screws or tabs to secure the new pedal assembly in place. Make sure it is securely fastened.
  4. Test the Pedal: Manually operate the pedal to ensure that it moves smoothly and engages the desired function.
  5. Turn the Vacuum Cleaner Upright: Once the pedal is securely in place, turn the vacuum cleaner upright and plug it back in.
If you're uncertain about any steps or encounter difficulties, it's recommended to consult the user manual for your specific model or contact the manufacturer's customer support for assistance. They may provide detailed instructions or guidance tailored to your vacuum cleaner's model and part.

Remove cabinet on kenmore 11022972101

F.Y.I., the Kenmore product line is made for Sears by leading appliance manufacturers and branded with the Kenmore name. Sears does not manufacture any products themselves.

Whirlpool is the manufacturer for this particular model of Kenmore since the prefix number before the period (or dot) in the full model number is, 110.

What year is this Kenmore dishwasher Model # 665.15831791 made?

The date of manufacture is determined by the SERIAL NUMBER on the appliance. This dishwasher was manufactured by Whirlpool. The following link explains how to determine when it was manufactured:

http://www.fixya.com/support/r3576437-determining_the_age_of_your_whirlpool_ap

The serial number is usually located somewhere around the door opening. The first two numbers in the serial number identify the WEEK it was manufactured (52 weeks in a year). The second DIGIT in the serial represents the YEAR it was manufactured.

If you have difficulty determining the manufacture date, please post back with your serial number and I will assist you. I hope you find this information helpful.

After my Kenmore Washer finishes it's rinse cycle and the washer motor shuts down, a loud clicking sound starts up as the drum slows down. Could there be a problem with the balance or a belt...

This assumes that you have a basic Kenmore / Whirlpool top load, direct drive, neutral drain (it doesn't spin until the pump removes most of the water) machine.

First, see the Sears parts site for your washer:
http://www.searspartsdirect.com/partsdirect/index.action

Enter your model number and you'll see a list of major sub-components with diagrams and parts.

Also see the Whirlpool / Kenmore PDF on installation and maintenance of top load direct drive washers. See the section discussing the tub brake.

https://secured.whirlpool.com/Service/SrvTechAdm.nsf/2cd44500d572193285256a45004fd9d6/f7e2147fa98b28cf85257122007475cb/$FILE/L-55.pdf

Also see the following description of how to remove the cabinet, agitator, motor, drum and drive tube assembly with the brake.

http://www.american-appliance.com/catalog/newsdesk_info.php?newsPath=16&newsdesk_id=137

Since the clicking appears to be connected to the brake operations I'd pull the drive tube / brake and inspect the springs / shoes for wear or damage.

At the end of the spin cycle, my Kenmore Washing Machine makes a grinding noise like an out of balance brake drum. What could be the problem

If your washer model number starts with 110. it's a whirlpool washer. Whirlpool use a spin tube with two notches in it. There is a block assembly that holds the inner basket down on to the spin tube. This can be accessed by removing the top of the agitator and take out the 7/16 screw. Lift the agitator to expose the top of the spin tube. The tube is stripped on top where the basket sits. When the washer stops spinning, the inner basket keeps moving. That is the noise you hear. Replace the spin tube and possibly the block.

I have a kenmore refrigerator model 36369262991. I have water accumulating on my top shelf. It drips from the thermostat control panel. what is wrong?

I had a similar problem on a Whirlpool Fridge. In fact, there is a good possibility that your Kenmore is made my Whirlpool. As you probably know, Sears doesn't make appliances, but contracts with well-known appliance makers to manufacture kenmore-branded products.

If your fridge is an auto-defrost model, whenever it auto-defrosts, water from the melted ice collects in a tray behind the freezer, and drains into an evaporation tray at the bottom of the fridge through a drain tube. Over a period of time, the drain tube can become clogged, and instead of draining out of the freezer, the water overflows into the fridge. The clue is that the problem is intermittent -- the dripping stops between defrost cycles.

The fix is to remove the liner panels from the freezer, melt and sponge out any collected ice, clear ice from the drain with hot water, and clear any gunk from the drain tube with compresssed air or a flexible "snake." I used 1/8" pvc tubing as a snake.

It isn't hard to do, but if you are nervous about disassembling parts of your fridge, you will need to get a pro to do it.

Dishes not cleaning particularly on top rack

A guess: the solenoid that directs the water from the pump is not opening fully. Clean it. It is a little nasty to get to but will likely cure the problem.
