Yes I realize that picture bridge is to printer but it is the only way I can see or download the pics to my computer. I CANNOT use the USB setting on my camera to plug and play it won't work.

Picture bridge is not USB to computer, it is to printer.

Try NOT connecting your camera to your computer.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program such as Picasa.

How to download pictures from phone to a USB drive

Both devices are USB slaves. You need a USB master, such as a computer. If your computer has two free USB ports, you can connect both machines to the computer and simply drag-and-drop the pictures from one to the other,

If you only have one USB port, then connect the phone drag=and-drag the pictures to a temporary folder on your computer, then disconnect the phoe, connect the tablet, then drag-and-drop.

Cant upload the pitures from sd card with out usb cord

Yes you cannot transfer pictures without the USB cable since that is working like the 'bridge' for your camera and computer communication.

However, there is still another way on how you can get the pictures. That is to use a memory card reader. Most laptops now has that particular slot. Or you can buy a cheap memory card on the nearest PC store.

Error in connecting the digital camera

i had this problem for couple of days, until i started googling this problem. I started to reread this instruction manual. If you have a communication error on the camera screen. Make sure the the USB port you are using, is a working unit. If it is, more than likely the port is not inserted correctly. Keep fiddling around with it until the message goes away. I would also turn the camera on and off to double check and make sure.
