Water licking inside car


the drain on the outside of the car (engine compartment)needs a gasket put around the drain to stop this problem.A gasket like what they put around windshields ,this will solve your problem,it did mine.

Lick of water getting inside my sienna 2002 when rains. Ihave sealed the space between the lower part of the front windshield and the water receiviour inside the engine compartment but still have the water...


Hello, here what you can do. Load up you Sienna 2002 Van with your friends and relatives.
Have them take a hard look see at every nook and cranny. Tell them if they can't find the leaks then you will continue to drive through the car wash until they find it and they will have to buy their own luncha.

if the car is licking water under the water pump then you have to re place the water pump if the car has over 40,000 miles replace the Drive belt as well give these websites a try www.alldatadiy.com and www.autozone.com if all fails stop by your local library and get your hands on a Haynes auto repair manual for your car wish you the best of luck Michigan Man.

Need to figure out where water is leaking from? it's to the right of engine. Now engine light is on. can not find a mech. book to help for a 98 civic. NEED HELP :)


YOU WANT TO KNWO WHERE IS LICKING WATER THE ENGINE WELL JUST RUN A COMPRESSION TEST IN THE RADIATOR HOW THIS WORK THERE IS A TOOL FOR THIS PROSSES IS LIKE A HAND POMP YOU CONECTED TO THE RADIATOR AND LET THE PRESIOR BUIL UP HUNTIL THE PRESSIOR BUILT UP TO WHATEVER YOUR RADIATOR HOLDS THEN CHECK FOR LICKS OUTSIDE AND AFTER 10 MINUTES CHECK THE PRESSIOR AGAIN IF YOU LOOSE PRESSIOR AND IS NOT LICKING OUTSIDE THEN IS LICKING INSIDE HEAD GASKET PROBLEM

If it is a 3.4L it is omon to see a leak on the drivers side lowerintak near the transmission, if it is the4cyl it may be the water pump, you would have to beunder the car looking up on the passenger back side for the leak.

Water lick but couldn't find where's the lick? Its leaking from radiator, or hoses.


the best thing you can do for that is to have the cooling system
pressure tested,that will tell u where is leaking.
