Question about JVC AV-48P575 48" Rear Projection HDTV-Ready Television

1 Answer

No sound we moved the tv from our living room to our bedroom. all the cables & wires are plugged in perfectly... but there is no sound. my husband was able to plug our stereo into it and get sound, but the actual speakers are not working. he used the remote to go into the menu to try and fix it that way, but it won't let him highlight or click on the sound control option. can you please give us some advice to get the sound back on?!

I have a 78 holiday rambler imperal limited, I have no outlet power in bedroom, bathroom and two plugs in living room one plug in living room does work. All my fues are new????

It could be a couple of things.
1.Buy a plug tester from Home depot or Lowe's start from the one that works and move over to the ones that don't work. The Plug tester will tell you what wire is lose. Most of the time its just wire nut. BEFORE WORKING ON WIRES MAKE SURE YOU TURN OFF POWER AND UNPLUG BATTERYS. Power must been on to use plug tester.
2. lose wire it could be the neutral", from the power inverter
Or in one of the j-boxes of the plugs.

If this doesn't work let me know.

N64 No Picture on Vizio TV

Well it sounds like a coincidence then. Or if it's working on one tv and not another tv then you need to try a new av cable to see if it makes a difference.

Hi there
Are you watching it through a cable box in both rooms? If so, it may be that the box in your living room has packed up.
Hope this helps

Brought new tv for bedroom freeview inc..set up

If you have got a good aerial, the high gain type- see image, it should run all the TV's you say. Make certain you have decent cable coming off the aerial (the stuff they use for satalite dishes). Then buy some high quality splitters, to feed the TV's. Don't split the cable outdoors!

Should be controllng one box. is controlling 2 boxes

Unfortunately, there is no solution for this issue.  The remote control sends out an infrared signal, which can be picked up as far as 40' away from the device.  And to make things worse, the signal will reflect off any surface such as glass, mirrors, or even brightly painted walls.
The only way to solve the problem is to block the path of the beam to the other room.  This may require closing a door or drawing heavy drapes closed.

Thomson dsi 4200 satellite receiver

The only way this would work ( and this applies to any form of cable/satellite box) so the only way this works is if the TV that has the satellite connected to it has a video output normally indicated with the color yellow, but you still need sound that normally is the red and white (RCA cables). So the first tv needs to have video and sound outputs and the TV you want it connected to needs to have the video and sound inputs. depending on the distance between the 2 TV's this might prove to be rather difficult. it would be easier to run the coax cable from the main satellite box to the room where you have the 2nd TV however to do this you would need to move the satellite box back and forth. Hope this helps

Dish network box hookup question.

Are you sure that the antenna in isn't threaded? You may be looking at the wrong jack... All antenna inputs are threaded co-axial "F" connectors. If you ARE sure, could you post a pic of the back panel?
