SOURCE: an iron anchor weight 600lb in air. how much force

Hi .. The anchor will be bouyed by the amount of sea water that it displaces .. 600#/480#/ft3 = 1.25ft3
1.24ft3 of sea water = 64#/ft3 X 1.25ft3 = 80 # lighter
so the force to lift the anchor from that depth will be 520# ...

but as soon as you move it .. the force will change due to the varying density of the sea water due to the presure of the depth of the water ltself .. same as the density of air varies with altitude ..

so this is a finite answer
