Question about Microsoft Windows Media Player

1 Answer

Confused by windows photo gallery, media player, music, and more

Trying to determine the best ''one'' place for storing photos, music & videos, editing, etc... when i download I end up with copies in multiple places, I can't get music onto videos, etc... I can't locate things. I'm a frustrated beginner user, clueless about softwares working together (or not, which seems to be my ongoing issue) and am tired of spending so much time trying to figure it out! I can't even figure out how to purchase music online outside of itunes as my itunes won't work with media player for video creation. This is remedial I'm sure, but I'm stuck looking for resources. Thank you!

If you are using Windows Vista , the easiest way to sort everything out in a controlled manner is by using your profile folder. Let me explain this a bit further.....

Lets say your username on the computer is "Joe". When you are on this account, you have a folder in the start menu called "Joe". If you click on that folder you will see a bunch of folders such as "My Music", "My Documents" , "My Downloads" , "My Videos", etc....

You can easily sort all of your good stuff into those folders to help lessen the chaos. Trust me I have a bunch of music/videos/documents & this is the only way I can keep track of things!

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Good luck!

How do you delete photos from Sansa e200 MP3 Player?

If you go into Windows Media Player, you have to change the Library option from Music to Photos and THEN go into the Sync tab - should now display photos instead of music.

Alternatively, you can double-click My Computer, double-click the icon of the Sansa, and find the images or picture folder - you may have to change your usb mode to msc in order to view this folder (don't forget to change it back later, or not all of your files will show up when you want them to). ONLY delete image files - if you delete system files, your mp3 player will become unusable.

Or, you can follow the method reccomended by your manual - the full user's manual is available from Sanidsk's website:
Delete Photos and Video
The photos are stored in 2 locations on your Sansa…My Album and
Thumbnails. The instructions below for deleting photos and video from your
player were created using Windows XP with Windows Media Player 11.
To delete photos from your Sansa, please execute the following steps:
1) Connect your Sansa e200 to your computer
2) Select Open device to view files using Windows Explorer on initial
connection
3) Click the drive containing your photos
4) Click on the photo folder.
5) Highlight and delete the photos stored in My Computer\Sansa
e200\...\Photo\My Album and My Computer\Sansa
e200\...\Photo\thumbnail\My Album.

This will help.Good Luck.

Problem with Microsoft Digital image 2006 Windows media Player has encountered a problem and meeds to close. We are sorry for the incomvenience. Error Sig. App.Mane: wmplayer.exe Appver: 10.0.0.3646...

The error is a Windows Media Player error, and it looks like you are running an older unpatched version. Try to download a newer version of Windows Media Player from here:
http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows/downloads/windows-media-player
I know MS discontinued their Digital Image Suite and encouraged people to switch over to the free Windows Live Photo Gallery:

All I want to do is run the playstation thru my computer. Do I have to connect it to the internet to do that?

not internet but your home network.
i'm not sure you can use your playstation through your computer. but you can access your pictures, music, videos that is stored on your computer from your ps3. if you have the latest version of windows media player it makes it easier.

Using Windows Media Player 11 as the server
Open Windows Media Player 11
From the toolbar, select Library then Media Sharing
Check "Share my media"
On the PS3 - Under Video, Photos or Music, select "Scan for media server"
Go back to the PC, and you should see a pop up showing an unknown device trying to connect.
Allow the device, and everything should work.

Help with sansa view video mp3 player

I think when you installed the best Buy store, you selcted "always sync" whenever your MP3 is cinnected. Try unixtalling the Best buy media store. and re-installing, taking care to uncheck that feature. For the rest of the community, if you had a e200R, and you are upgrading to the view, you need to also un-install the B.B media store, and od a re-install.... WHY? Because the latest version of the media store, allows you to drag and drop both photos and videos .

just let me know whether this is helpful or not.....

What do I have to do to get videos and photos uploaded to my mp3 player.?

In respect to the device, media refers to music, photos, and videos.

To transfer music, you will need to use Windows Media Player, Rhapsody, or similar.

To transfer photos, or videos, you will need to use the Sansa Media Converter, which came on the installation disk.

There are many "How to Videos" on the SanDisk page that may help you in your plight;
