Where did it go? Any errors or just doesn't show up in tray? Has it been disabled in Network Neighborhood?

First, you need to know what's IP of Router and your Camera (or DVR). Then browse to IP of Router and setting up NAT port (or port redirect. If cannot you can give me your Skype, I will help you more then here.

We have two computers and we can t connect at the same time

You must make sure your ISP- Internet Service Provider allows more then one conection.
Shut everything off for 2 minutes the start everything up 1 at a time giving time for full boot up of each in between each devicethis can often fix the problem but often you will need a router rather than a switch as a switch does not assign IP addresses so it will look as though both PC's have the same IP address and booting one or the other ofline.

If this is helpful please give it a Thumbs Up!!!
Good Luck!!!

A switch should not have bad ports, its just a basic level device not much higher than a hub. Make sure you are using straight through cables to connect pc's to it. you can tell if it is a straight through most of the time by looking at the colors from left to right. (see picture) this will not be the case 99% of the time but sometimes a switch or router will come with one for connecting to other switches (which is what crossovers are made to do.
nathan_f.gifNote the colors and check to see that both cables have the same. if one is different then it is a crossover (it crosses wires so that similar devices can connect together.) Hope this helps, good luck with your switch.

How to connect netgear fs108 to cable modem

leeb..... switches cannot be connected to the Cable modem.... because NAT will not be enabled in cable there wont be any DHCP server present in the cable modem....
Nat will be enabled only in DSL modem like AT&T verizon etc....So DHCP server will be present inside DSL modem...that is the reason why switches can be connected only to the DSL modem....
With NAT enabled modem, switch will work as a switch.... With NAT disabled modem, switch will work as a hub.... This is the difference....
Any doubts further ? please clarify with me.... I am ready to help you....

How to link with 16 port switch with 8 port switch

Good question.
To link the new switch, take a short cable from the LAN port on the new Switch and connect it to one of the existing ports on the old or connected switch. it's just a daisychain.
Just keep in mind that the LAN connection on the Last switch must be connected to a PORT on the prior device on the LAN.

Connecting a 3Com 2952 Plus switch to a Cisco 3750 switch

If you also have a standard copper cable (or a second fibre cable) connecting the two switches (for resilience perhaps?), this issue is probably being caused by something called Spanning Tree. This is implemented on switches as a 'loop avoidance' system, and can look like you have described with one end 'ip' and the other end no lights.

On the Cisco switch, get to a telnet/ssh/console session, log in and enter show spanning-tree and press enter.

have a look to see if the fibre interface has a status (sts column) of BLK. If it has, then this is called 'blocking' and will remain like that until you remove the second link to the other switch.

Hope that this has helped!

Hi i need a KVM extention over fiber solutions please

You will probably find that all fibre kvms are expensive.
Quite often you will find it cheaper to purchase some other pc's and a fibre switch to run them back to the rest of the net or server.
