Question about Sony Cameras
I've had this camera for a number of years and was quite happy with it. I never used the additional digital zoom until last October. When looking at the pics on my pc they all looked completely overexposed, with faint horizontal lines. Now the optical and digital zoom facility is gone completely, as soon as I go beyond 70 the LCD screen goes white (wide angle and normal still works) and the images come out as above. I reset the camera several times to no avail.
CCD Failure !
Just call Sony for Free Repairs they will do it , known problem in thousands of cameras just see the link below to confirm ur problem Sony has issued some service advisories but if u are not incl dont worry just call them and insist on free repairs
