Yellow light comes on but iron does not warm up


You will have to check the continutiy of the heating element . Use a multimeter and open the connection port. Look at the terminals and take the test. it must shown full continutity, if not the element has failed.. remove cover and get full access to confirm. Good day

Rowenta DX-8800 will not heat. Location of heating element?


The heating element is incorporated in the base. Rarely is the heating element bad. Its usually a connection or control problem. You cannot just replace the heating element.
