Dear kappa, It is the problem related "Alignment of cartridge" your printer is working properly, I am suggesting a method, with the help of this method you will never get test page until you lift out your cartridge from your printer. When next time printer print a test page, take it and put it into the scanner, remember the printing area should be the side of mirror and the printer prints on the above side of the paper should be left side of the scanner. And press scan button, you will see the green light will be blink and a voice of scanner you will hear. After 30 seconds light will stop blinking, Next time when you will turn on your printer, it will not print test page.

Error offline

Click Start and then go to Printers and Faxes (XP), Printers(Vista), Devices and Printers(Win 7)
1. Right Click on your printer Icon 2. Click Open or See What's Printing 3. Click the option that says Printer on the upper left corner of the window that pops up. 4. Make sure the only thing that is checked under that menu is Set As Default Printer. 5. If Use Printer Offline or Pause Printing has a check mark. Uncheck it.
Try printing again. I hope this helped.

has your printer ever had this problem?
is it a new printer?
Check your cables and make sure the are plugged in an secure.
You can also unplug your printer for a minute plug it back in and observe what happens.
If this does not work check you system tray in the bottom right hand corner of your computer screen.
look for the printer icon and click on it. Cancel all print jobs and retry your printing.

this may help solve your issue

I cannot delete a document from the print que. It won't print and it won't delete and the printer won't print anything else until one or the other has been done. Running XP, printer is and HP PSC 1410 ....

hmm..unplug the printer from computer and power printer down. that should clear the printer memory. then plug back into computer, before turning printer power back on. see how that helps.

HP PSC 1410 All-In-One InkJet Printerred ink problem

I know this might sound silly but there is pieces of plastic on the bottom of the cartridges that cover the holes to keep them from drying out, make sure they are removed and then reinstall the cartridges and see if that helps.

All of a sudden my printer will not print

If you see the printer icon at the systray (near the clock, at the right bottom of the screen)? double-click on it. You'll see how many and what files are pending for printing. On menu press "Printer", then "Cancell all documents". Be patient. Sometimes you should try to press "Cancell all documents" several times, till the printer does it's job. Sometimes it's necessary to press "Cancel" (red button) on your printer. Try to switch off printer and then restart the computer. Switch on the printer and do the procedure described above.

Printer wont work and its connected to the laptop

Have you tried a cleaning cycle? If not, try one (right click the little printer icon in the bottom right corner of the screen and select head clean). Now run a nozzle check (right click the little printer icon in the bottom right corner of the screen and select nozzle check). Is there any sign of ink on the paper. Try up to three cleaning cycles. If ink is now flowing, but not yet perfectly, don't carry out any more cleaning cycles. Just leave the printer for 24 hours (to allow any air in the print head to disperse). Then repeat the cleaning cycle/wait process. It may take a while to restore a perfect nozzle check print. If these actions produce no positive results, report back with a new comment for further assistance.

Prints continuously

sounds like when it wasn't printing properly, you tried to print several times, not realising that prints which were not printed at the time were being stored to print when the printer was available.

you need to check the print queue, by clicking on the printer icon in the bottom right hand corner of the screen(by the clock)

you should be presented with a list of pending documents, which you can delete or suspend as required.

if the printer icon cannot be found next to the clock you can find it under START>settings>Printers
