SOURCE: Hi, Advice please, my shower when on hot comes

If you are taking about then neck of the shower head this is what you must do. its no need to turn the water off to the house or to the bathroom first you will need a pair of channel locks and some Teflon tape. first remove the shower head if you dont want to scar the nut on the shower head place cloth between the pliers and the fitting, once removed (very important) turn the channel locks upside down stick one side of the blue handle up in the neck of the shower and rotate to your left to loosen if you are having a leak leak there it should already be semi loose, once removed wrap the threads with the Teflon tape and re-insert making sure it is tight, then wrap the the outer end of the neck with Teflon tape and place the head back on.The reason it leaked is because the plumber who installed it did not tighten it up completly because he wanted it to look straight coming out of the wall and the additional water pressure causes it to leak wheras the hot water causes it to expand and seal

SOURCE: Water coming from around the bottom of

Piece of P: youre prob right and its the pressure relief device, which is a silicone rubber ball that gets blown out of a branch of the exit pipe just behind where the hose screws on. If you are careful you can push it back with a small (non sharp) screwdriver etc, looking up from underneath. It would be easier to see if you unscrew the hose first.
Good luck!

Why is my Gainsborough 2000x shower not heating the water passing through?

I sounds as if the element has failed... if you isolate the power to the shower you could test the element with a multimeter..

I have a gainsborough ps1600 shower. Water pressure has dropped. Doesn't help when head is removed. Can still adjust temperature but not speed/power

If the water pressure dropped at a sudden moment, it sounds more like an issue with the water pressure leading into your shower, and not a problem with the shower its self. Try seeing if other water sources in the same area of your shower have the same low water pressure issue.

Water coming from around the bottom of gainsborough 9.5E electric shower. I think its a pressure release device. Do I need a call out or a new shower. Or can I fix it.

No water coming out of shower

First you should check the screens st the ends of the hose to be sure they are not clogged. The shower head as well. Otherwise it could be the water control valve, solenoid or thermal cut off.
