SOURCE: Need a manual and the spark plug number and gap

Find the model no. on the mower. The first 3 numbers such as 123.45678 the 123 is the sears mfg code. Google "sears mfg codes" and you will get a lot of hits. Find one that gives complete llist (as some just give appliances). Find mfg. Then go to their website and you will then have to find your mower. Sometimes this is very hard to do, but if you can find one that will let you look at the mowers, you should find it. You can then print you a manual and order parts at a much lower price also. Or you can call sears 800 no. for parts and they can probably provide you with the manual, at a cost.

SOURCE: i have a walk behind mower with a 14 hp kawasaki

Try cleaning the magnets on the fly wheel. Use emery cloth or fine sandpaper. Also clean the little prongs by the fly wheel.

Good luck

SOURCE: My walk behind mower wont start..has no spark with

Rust on the magneto has no bearing on the output of a spark. The magneto or the points if it has them could be the problem. If the unit has points they may be under the flywheel. If so equiped, that would be the logical place to start. If no points, I would replace the magneto. When you place the new one on, place a piece of paper between the flywheel and the magneto. When you tighten the magneto, pull out the paper and turn the flywheel by hand. If the magneto turns without touching, put everything together and try it out. Good luck...Lee

Remove the rope case and see if it is the mower -also - remove the spark plug and try it - also - - after removing the spark plug - also -try spinning the blade. If you remove the top you will see the problem sooner.

HELP, 2007 Toro walk behind mower

There is a drain plug on the block of the motor usually it looks square. if its not behind the blade on the under carriage, then it will be on top above the blades were the motor is visible. you may have to tip the mower on its side to completely drain all the oil. but the plug is always going to be on the motor either on the side or on the bottom. if the plug is on the bottom were the blade is remove the spark plug wire first. a mower can start if you turn the blade by hand and that would be vary bad news so always take the spark plug wire off and make sure it can not come in contact with the spark plug before going underneath the mower.
