You have to get into the sevice mode and reset the "PM" counter back to zero. Go to service mode and enter code 24 then enter sub code 04 back to all zeros and exit out and turn the copier off then back on and it should disapear.

Did you do a PM on the copier? Or do you just want it off the display? You need to get in to service mode with pressing "#" "Interrupt" "Clear" "Interrupt" then enter 24 "Start" then go to sub code 04 then press OK to clear count. To exit press "CA" Good Luck

1. unplug the printers power cable it resets ALL printers

2. Once you have it unplug the power cable back in and turn it on make sure it's plugged into the computer.

3. you may need to uninstall and reinstall any software and drivers that came with the printer

4. download and install all the critical updates and service packs for your operating system

5. download and install any updates for your printer from the shap printer driver site

Hello sir; there have no reset key for maintenence, whenevere PM light on you need to do PM service (such as replace drum developer, drum blade etc.)

Need help for maintenance on Sharp AR208D copier

The 208D had a network module on the back of it where the Cat5 cable plugs in. there is a little black button on there, if you hold it down it will print out the network config page.

  1. fold down the bypass tray on the right
  2. hit grey button on right door to open it
  3. fold the front cover down
  4. press green button to remove the toner
  5. the drum is the other thing you can grab and there and remove.
  6. reassemble in reverse order of 5-1

Toner seal sucked into machine

well you use a protective nose filter, these toner dust is can bleed nose if inhaled, and use a dust cleaner with a new bag, take the toner dust with a help a brush, clean all you can, then put all( bag and brush and nose filter, to contamined trash bin as dagerous to nature and heath), and put a new toner unit, and test.

No need developer.When your machine need developer,it show developer signal.blank page print means,charger problem please check corona wear may be it broken or displace.

Set-up for this copier sure isn't well-documented. We just got ours working today, by following the instructions here: (yes, it lists a different model number, but the instructions worked, and were linked from the ar-208d product page from the supplier)

Error: Printing data is inaccurate, printing processing is stopped Printer error page is printed with this error prints fine from the webpage printer is installed on windows 2000 over a network

I got the same error with another type of sharp photocopier AR-M257

My error, I was installing the wrong driver.
I installed the Sharp driver with the PS at the end.
