Re: how do i reset my rca mp3 player?

Ya windows media player is definately compatible with it. Does this MP3 Player have a format option from within the MP3 player? Many new MP3 players offer the option to format the MP3 player by going into the settings. Check the manual to find out how to do it. If that doesn't work, check for a reset hole on the MP3 player. The manual should detail the procedure for reseting the MP3 player.

Space on the mp3 player

You need to make sure the songs you are saving to it are in the .mp3 format and not .wma
.mp3 format compresses the song file smaller than .wma
Also make sure the mp3 player doesn't already have other audio or video files stored on it (if it is used).

Only plays 6 songs on it!

How do you have the settings for playback? Is it on random, artist or album? Check those settings. Maybe something got changed by accident.

Some songs downloaded on omnitech mp3 player won't play

Some of the Mp3 players require a particular directory structure.
If required, this directory structure is created automatically when you format the card in the player itself.
Make sure you take a backup before formatting the card as it will delete all data on the card.

After formatting, you may see few folders (unhide hidden files as well)
You need to transfer in one of these.
Also let me know how exactly transfer the songs if this does not resolve. If possible, also try giving few details.

Delstar 1036 problem

If the MP3 Player is like I think it is, you need the software installed to transfer the files to the player, because it has to give each song a specific "code" that the player is able to see.   For the disc not installing look for the option to manually install the software (usually [Drive Letter]:setup.exe or something) in the user manual, and it "might" be a little more straightforward.  However, I am not sure if all of the software is compatible with Vista :( Sorry
