I know there is a simpe solution to this but I can't find it right now. My RCA ViSYS 2 line had a long power interruption. It has been restored to default, incoming calls are fine, but I cannot dial out. There is a dial tone, but no response to the keypad in terms of the numbers. In the "old days" it was have been a tone/pulse setting, but I can't figure it out. Any suggestions?

- Solved it myself and of course it was an easy solution - simply replace the batteries. D'oh!

I have a RCA ViSYS 2-Line Speakerphone. I like it very much but it has an odd problem. It makes a continuous low buzzing sound whenever both phone lines are plugged in. Lifting the handset off hook and back on silences this until any event (incoming ring, speakerphone use, etc.) causes the speaker to be activated. Off hook/on hook again fixes it until the next event. Unplugging one of the lines makes it go away until plugged back in which makes it return immediately
