W do I turn off squelch control on a digitech DC-1065 marine radio hand held 5 Watt

Hi David,

Before I try to give advice, I need more info.

I possess a Digitech DC1065 UHF 80 Channel CB hand held, so there seems to be some confusion here.

I live near Perth, Western Australia.

Firstly, How many channels does your radio have?

If the answer is 80, then what you have is a UHF CB, not a marine band radio.

Marine band is VHF with 87 Channels, in Australia that is, and the default channel is always 16.

Digitech are an Australian radio manufacturer, so you'll get great backup service.

If your radio is not defaulting to Ch16, then I am right about it being a UHF CB.

Therefore, it is useless for VHF anything, let alone Marine band.

I'm almost 100% sure this is a UHF CB in your possession.

Try this to prove me right please.

Reply to me with your Country and nearest city, I'll then be able to find a solution for you real quick, though I believe I already have.

Looking forward to your response.

Regards,
Peter

Hi I have a vhf digitech AM-4071 wireless microphone system and the problem is that both microphones are going only through one RF, on the transmitter. The second mic goes but its not receiving on tr

You need to check that they are both operating on different channels there should be a switch or POT on the microphone and possibly one on the reciever. If they are static or preset you need to swap one for the other channel. Some (usualy cheap) mics have a preset or static channel often ch-A and ch-B, there should be one of each in the box. If you bought the extra body packs they will also come with the preset channels.

How do I change the channel on the Digitech DC-1005 walkie talkie? THanks

Looking everywhere online for an instruction manual for my little green and yellow walkie talkies ( Digitech dc-1003) without luck, so I had to work it out for myself.
The first button with the circle with line though it is the on/off button but it is also the channel select button. Hold it down for 2 secs to turn it on or off, OR press it once to be able to choose channels (the flashing number can be changed using the triangle up and triangle down buttons). Once you've chosen your channel, press the on/off button to select Hi or Lo frequency then press on/off button a third time to save. If you don't want the annoying static that sometimes comes, press the on/off button a fourth time for the squelch function (saves batteries and eliminates annoying hiss).
The next button is "S" which is the scan button. Hold it down to start scanning through all channels to try to pick up a transmission (we found a conversation between two fishermen today). When it finds a transmission, it will pause to let you see the channel number then continue. Hold down "S" button again to go back to original channel.
Next button "C" is the Call button. Pressing this button transmits a beeping alert to people on the same frequency/channel to let them know you are about to transmit a message.
The trangle up and triangle down buttons control the volume or select channels (as mentioned above).
Hope this helps. :)

Samsung shr 1040 4 channel dvr

You have to hook it up to a tv monitor and change the settings through the menu. It will originally include a password just to get you on, then you will immediately have to change it. After you do that you can access the menu where you can change the output settings

Connecting the recorder to the security system

If you are hooking your cameras into the SMO-151qn then you can use the pigtail cable to connect to the Shr-1040. Make sure the video out from the SMO-151qn goes into the video in of the Shr-1040. If there is a choice use CH1. On the Shr-1040 hold down the mode button and press CH2 for about 10 seconds. The Shr-1040 should reboot. Once it comes up press the record button. After recording for a feww minutes stop the recording. On the SMO-151qn press the button on the front Live/Vcr. You should see the screen from your Shr-1040. IF you hit play you should see what you recorded. Good Luck!
