It says one view one solution but there is nothing to read that you have solved the problem.

Screen and view finder not showing anything

Just covering the bases...
Make sure the lens cap is removed
Turn the ON/OFF switch to Favorite mode
Press EVF/LCD does it toggle
Look to see if the battery level ICON shows better then half
Battery combination sometimes will show a strong icon level
It may be strong in the other modes which draws less power then the picture taking mode.
My guess would be New Battery replacement.
Some tests were done that may be of value to your solution

I have a kodak M1033 camara with a SD HC PNY optima 240 HD 16 GB and the camara says internal memory is full and is only 1/2 minute video in the camara please help

Hi!
Sonds like the camera hasn't switched to the memory card. Go to setup and set memory to Auto not Internal. If that doesn't help, it's possible that the camera doesn't support 16GB card, but it should give you a card error then, so check the memory settings first.

I can not transfer my pictures from the M1033 easy share kodak to my computer. Please help!! I am connecting the usb cable to the camera and computer and turning the camera on - nothing happens! When I go...

I typically recommend using a card reader- it's a constant and generally works better and it keep the wear and tear down on the camera/battery. I'd recommend you try using a reader and see if it's working correctly. If not, look at the USB port and also check the hardware (Device) manager and ensure that the USB ports are working properly.

I have a Kodak M1033 camera that I bought just over 6 months ago. I took it on holiday it worked fine and then suddenly it switched off. Since then it only powers up for about 5 seconds, shows a unfoc

I'm not sure why this works for me, but I think it's worth a try:

1) First, take your SD card out of the camera.

2) Then turn on your camera and let it turn itself off.

3) Read the next step first and be ready to press the shutter release button (take a picture) right after the LCD screen turns on

4) With the camera lens pointed down towards the floor (aim down), turn on the camera. At this point the LCD screen should not be blurry anymore. Immediately press the shutter release after confirming that the LCD is not blurry. If the camera stays on and you can review the picture (most likely of your feet), then you are almost done.

5) Turn off the camera and re-insert your SD card.

5) This may not be a permanent fix, but point the camera lens downward whenever you turn on the camera. It should work normally if you do this. Mine worked normally (meaning I don't have to point it downward when I turn it on) after doing this several times. Your results may vary.

Battery will not stay charged after being fully charged

Hi,

How old is the battery?
These happen when battery becomes weak/faulty.

If the battery is new, ask for replacement.
If old, time to get new.

Thanks

Just chatted with Kodak, {in Manila} the Tech said the icon will appear when the battery is low.He said you should still be able to take about 15 more pictures once it appears. We'll see I guess.Good luck.

Display battery level

Well, I tried pressing and HOLDING down the mode button. The battery level display miraculously showed up. I’ve also read (yahoo answers) that battery level display will show up automatically when battery is low. Hopefully I won't have to do this every time I recharge the battery.

How do i view the battery indicator on the Kodak md1063 digital camera. Handbook shows icon bottom right, however this does not appera. I did notice the icon when I first switched on - battery required...

I'm not 100% sure about this. But I "think" the battery icon is a warning icon that only shows if the battery is depleted by more than 50%. That's certainly how it works on other Kodak cameras.
