Re: wont wash

The water level sensing switch could be stuck or not functioning and therefore not cutting off the water when it reaches the correct level and starting the wash cycle.

This is likely either a leak in the connection of the fill tube to the fill valve OR some problem where the fill tube goes into the cavity or a crack in the fill tube. One reaally needs to pul the unit out and watch during the cycle where the water comes from. The water probably was hot but had time to cool. A lastly thing is a seal problem at the pump shaft, however, water from there would have detergent in it... might appear to be clean but would be caustic. Feel the water IF it feels greasy on your fingers it is caustic... wash off and the cavity is leaking which could be pump seal or leakage at the float switch.

My bosh exxcel disher dose dot fill

Thanks for using FixYa. To start with check the water inlet valve which is located behind the lower access panel on the left or right side of the Dishwasher. If the water inlet valve is bad you have to replace it, also check the main water line for clogs/obstructions. If still the issue is not resolved then it’s a bad float switch and needs to be replaced. Please do rate the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.

No water fill

This is a typical Anti Flood system activation. This system activates when water leaks onto the floor of the machiene due to a leak fault (pipe/hose clamp/ partly blocked pipe). The machiene automatically switches to pump out mode and stops water inlet. The anti flood system is a polystireen float / micro switch at the base of the machiene floor. Dry the floor and drectify the leak and it should work.

It ended up being a simple fix. Soap had dried on the floater (water sensor device) and it could not move, therefore no water was going in. I poured hot water and vinegar into the washer and ran a complete cycle and it is working fine now

I have a tricity bendix dishwasher. It is not washing properly, also the washing tablet dose not desolve.the model n.o is TDF 200

Dishes not cleaned properly....
  1. Check the water temperature. Should be 125 to 140 F.
  2. Check pump re-circulation., Listen, see if it sounds like it is spraying the water around with enough pressure.
  3. Check water level when the fill cycle has completed. Should be just under the heating element. If not, possibly need to replace the water inlet valve.
  4. Check the spray arm and pump cover for splits or leaks.
  5. Check to make sure dishwasher is draining after each cycle. There should only be a little water in the bottom of the tub.

Diswasher Leaked, now Won't Work

if you see a float inside of the dishwasher make sure its cleaned well.that float tells the control board when to drain and to fill with water.the symptom you descibe tells me its trying to drain, make sure the float moves freely.if you dont have a float you will see a metal probe clean that up as well.try this and if it doesnt fix the sensor may be part of the drain body and it has failed(leaking).
